Good service, nice apartment, very helpful staff who helped via WeChat

The room was reasonably priced and affordable and soundproofed. The hot water came out quickly and was comfortable to rest

the slippers are clean and comfortable to wear and the bed sheets are clean and tidy

Honestly I do not know where the good reviews come from. For this price I’ll actually expect a little more. At least a floor towel in the shower, bottle of water and room cleaning. The shower pressure is so low, I couldn’t wash my hair. Nobody came to clean the room. The stairwell is super narrow, very hard to carry my luggage up. I can hear what outside of the building so clearly that it interrupts my sleep. Location is in the center, but not very easy to find. Overall I would not recommend it.

Lovely place to stay for a night or two. Neighborhood is quiet and about four coffee shops down the road plus many restaurants.

It is located at the central area at Xuhui. You will find many bars and coffee nearby. The room itself is not easy to find so the host guided me all the way to approach the room. This place is small but tidy and clean. Recommend.

The room has a corner for kids to play in. The kids love it. The room can sleep three people. The room is a little bigger than I thought

I recently stayed at Guisu in Shanghai, and it was a fantastic experience. The location was excellent, close to major attractions and public transport, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with well-maintained rooms and modern facilities. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The comfortable bed and quiet atmosphere made for a great night’s sleep. Overall, it’s a great spot for both tourists and business travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located stay in Shanghai. Highly recommended!

Convenient transportation, easy to find, timely landlord communication, easy check-in

Pretty cool place to stay, lots of cafes, bars and BBQ places in the area and only a thirty minute metro ride straight from hongqiao station. You add the host on WeChat in advance with directions and passcodes for the apartment.

This was an excellent place to stay in a great central location in Shanghai. The loft apartment is well decorated and comfortable beds were great. You can hear some street noise. The kitchen did not have any condiments or oil but did have pots and pans and tableware. The oven doesn’t currently work but the stovetop is great. There is also a very nice high pressure shower and comfortable bathroom although the drain does smell a bit. The location is quiet and although the walls are thin it is a peaceful street. The apartment is also relatively accessible for older people (except the upstairs loft of course). Both beds are large and comfortable. The host was extremely responsive when checking in remotely. Initially the code did not get sent automatically so I had to reach him and he was very happy and fast to help. He also allowed us to store our bags. When we returned to pick up our bags the door code had expired and he was responsive via phone in helping us address this. Thank you for a great stay!
