Shanghai Bund Yiwan Hotel recensioner

Whoever took the pictures and edited them deserve a raise. The hotel cleanliness was terrible. The floors were sticky and dirty. The hotel was on the older side which is fine if the inside is well kept but it was not and was dirty. All the walls had weird stains and markings on them. If you’re not a stickler for cleanliness, the location is great though. There’s also no elevator.

Large room we had 5 beds but 3 of them were rooms the others were on the ground in the living room. The location more than makes up for the room. Very near many restaurants and walking distance from everything we wanted to see. The staff was super kind helpful and we enjoyed are stay.

I chose this hotel because it is really close to East Nanjing subway station exit 6 which is very comfortable for my 90 years old dad. Moreover the 2 receptionists here have done such a perfect service. The special thanks to the boy who reply my questions and help me out anytime I need his help. Also a special big thanks to the lady who is a receptionist for making a train ticket for me and my family. One thisng I would like to suggest the hotel owner as a hotel owner too. Please change the mattress in the bedroom because it is not comfortable to sleep at all.

Rooms were clean and location was good. But it was little noisy at night. Was using ladder and hotel staffs helped with luggage.

Overall, we are happy with this hotel. Perfect location for metro and nanjing road, only walking around we can find the bund, shopping street nearby, food store, local Chinese food. Quite convenient. It's not noisy, as others said. We confirmed we could sleep well every night. For big luggage, the hotel staff could help us to bring up and down. Normal facilities like hair dryer, wifi but we don't use. Kettle no water provided. Towels, shower gel, hair gel and hair conditioner. The hotel is just across the street of metro east nanjing (gate 6). We stayed for 6 night 7 days.

Very good location near East Nanjing station ,exit 6 with walking less than 100 meters. They also have reception for check in till 24.00. It is very convenient to explore nanjong walking strret, people square and the Bund.

Near the Bund, and easy to go by MRT or bus.Many food store around. Walking away to Nanjing road. (-) No elevator. But it's ok

Great Location, Convenient for Exploring Nanjing Road and The Bund The location is good. Its located right across from East Nanjing Road metro station and just a few steps from Nanjing Road itself. There are many malls and restaurants nearby, including the famous crab noodle shop, convenience stores, fruit stalls, and tea shops, so you’ll never have to worry about food options. The hotel can be a bit hard to find at first since most signs are in Chinese, but look out for the one with orange-colored characters. The lobby is on the 3rd floor. Our room is on the 2nd floor Note: **there’s no elevator** but the staff is happy to help with your luggage. They carried our bags both at check-in and check-out, which was a big help. We stayed in a family room for 4 people with two large beds. The room was fairly clean and spacious. There’s no TV, but they provide a projector, which was a nice touch. One downside is that the windows are not very soundproof — it can get noisy from the street outside. If you’re looking for a convenient, centrally located hotel close to major attractions like The Bund, and don’t mind skipping luxury for affordability, I think this is a great choice — especially for groups of friends traveling together

Excellent location. Right next to Nanjing street, also public transport train station right next to it. Lots of food nearby. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. However sink was clogged, water unable to flow through. Bathroom shower did not come with a rack to hang clothes. Overall satisfied and good value for money.

Our stay in this hotel was really good. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Cracked window in our room, mattress on the floor without a bedframe, sockets hanging so high up you can't plug anything in properly. Windows and walls were so paper thin you could hear everything, the loud music from the street below, the conversations people were having on the street, and it didn't help when in the morning some guests had moved in and started blasing loud music of their own. The wood used to make the wall design for the room was untreated timber which meant if we touched it we could very easily get splinters in our hands, very unsafe. The front lobby was on the third foor and our room was on the fourth. This would not be a big problem however we had several heavy suitcases and backpacks which we had to carry up there to check in. No elevator as far as we could see. I was incredibly dissapointed by the quality of the room and the hotel in general. The price was far too high for how little sleep I got the one night spent there.

The location is good quite close to famous Nanjing road street. Nearby got many restaurants. There is a bun shop and 小杨生煎 just next to it. The room we stay doesn't have dryer machine and microwave. If have will make us easier. The shower hot water is very hard to control. Most TV channel need member registration to watch. So these issues you may improve.

This hotel is kocated in prime area and suit to travellers but unfortunately elevator is not available, so difficult for elderies and bringing big luggages
