Shanghai Mido Resort Homestay recensioner

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The design is gorgeous — so unique and full of character, with a cozy atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. It was incredibly quiet at night, which made for a perfect night’s sleep. The hosts were kind and very accommodating, always making sure I had everything I needed. I am definitely coming back.

Saw someone posted on IG and immediately added to my bucketlist, glad that i came to witness, very pretty resort i must say - every corner is IG worthy. Breakfast simple yet nice. So glad that they provide shuttle service to Airport and Disney !! I think the only downside is the constant footstep from upstairs but luckily i brought my own earplug so issue solved. Oh, and owner got 2 cutie dogs welcoming you and sending you off, awww they are too cute ! Love the sentimental music they played at the lobby, everytime when i'm back from outside i feel home and happy.

This hotel was absolutely overrated by past reviewers. It is nothing like the photos and reviews. However, the staff we met were super kind. I don’t recommend this motel! I had to check out after 1 night and cancelled the remaining 3 days I initially had booked. This hotel was the first place we came across disposable towels and my friend and I are still totally surprised at it.

Had a really wonderful stay for 2 nights, This place looks like exactly like how it is in the pictures. The staff is nice and helpful. If i return to shanghai, i would just come back here for the two dogs who greeted us as soon as we entered the property, we immediately knew our stay here is going to be great! And it was!

Hotel’s owner was really nice and they provided a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel along with shuttle to and fro Disneyland. The owner and staff were really sweet and friendly. They also had the two cutest dogs welcoming us in. Hotel room was spacious even if there were 5 of us in a group. Room was also clean and if we could ask them if we needed anything or any assistance. I would recommend here and would love to visit again!

This cozy homestay exceeded all our expectations!! wonderful hosts, did everything to make our stay comfortable, when we did not have time to have breakfast, they always gave us something to take away, it is very nice and pleasant! This homestay is very beautiful, also provides a transfer from the airport, metro station and to Disneyland! And they also have two cute dogs, you should definitely see them! Highly recommend this homestay, and will definitely come back again when we come to Shanghai!!

Room is clean. Toilet water presure is a bit low. Owner/counter staff is helpful. Have to improve breakfast serving staff, a women serve quality.

Very friendly host, they went the extra way to allow us to check in early as we landed in shanghai early. And she was very helpful in helping us figure out the shuttle bus and in helping us book taxi to and from the airport. Room is clean and the architecture is well done. Curved spaces allow for fluidity and it makes the space look very welcome. The dogs are very friendly as well, very homely stay.

Though we arrived late, they had no issues in checking us in to our multiple rooms. Pool was a nice touch to let the children play in the water and rather close to Pudong airport. The one time use bath towels were a bit small for bigger people though they did the job.

The owners are amazing people, I definitely recommend Mido
