Shanghai Hongqiao Heyitang Hotel (Beixinjing Subway Station Branch)

Was a nice stay. Newly opened hotel so very clean. Even had free dinner buffet included, although the food wasn't as fresh as hoped for - but you cannot complain about free stuff. It's close to Hongqiao railway station and airport and direct subway line to The Bund, which is very beautiful.

This hotel is new, open this year. It was just 10 minutes away from the metro station, if you walk slowly and enjoy walking. Located near the local housing area, very convenient to walk to the local market, 10-15 minutes away, variety of local food to choose from, famous HeMa groceries mart also within walking distance. For those who love to check out the locals supermarket. The hotel staff was friendly & polite. They upgraded me on the day I checked in, to a bigger room, as my husband asked for a quiet room. As it is new and still undergoing some maintenance after renovation, you might find dust in the wardrobe corner, or some hiding area. We did not make a fuss about it, understanding that this could not be avoided. The design of the room is not what we expected, for example the bath tub is outside of the bathroom, if you open the door to take something, others might see from outside.it is best if a blind/curtain is provided. The wardrobe is an open concept, so as the basin/powdering area. The breakfast is good for me, Chinese & western mix. They do provide free supper - noodles, as well. Overall I'm satisfied with my stay, although a minor incident happened but the staff managed to look into it and solved it. Bonus point is, the hotel provides a free day trip around Shanghai by bus. Just booked a day earlier.

This hotel is spacious and clean. Staff are all extremely welcoming!

Excellent service, Our plane was scheduled at night and the lady in the reception kindly let us late check out until 6pm and have a quick shower before our long haul flight.

Very good experience for my parents and myself. The reception was amazing with really great and professional people. They helped a lot and answered all the questions we had. The room was clean, confortable and everything worked well. The breakfast is also really good with a lot of choices. I highly recommend this hotel.
