The location is fantastic - within 10 min walk from Nanjing East station. You get to experience the local neighbourhood community too. It is also very near the bay area to view the famous scenic The Bund with historical buildings at your back. You can walk to many famous places to clock the local delights. The hotel staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. You can get hot water refills and coffee at the lobby area.

Although the hotel is located in a small, hard to find alley, it is located almost in the heart of the city, easily commute to anywhere. The staffs were friendly and very helpful despite, the language barrier (as they dont speak english well). You can leave your luggages there they will take care of it too. Overall. It was a great experience staying here, will sure be back. Mom loves it.

I don't know about the other rooms, but in ours the window was very narrow and old, with poor insulation, we could hear everything from outside, including the air conditioning. There was a visible gap at the side of the window. It felt as if we were given the worst room in the hotel. From the first to the last day, there was a used, dirty cotton swab lying in the corner on the bathroom floor. The hotel has a good location, but the surrounding area is quite unpleasant. Unfortunately, this was the worst room (out of 7) we stayed at during our three-week trip in China.

The location was in an alley near Nanjing East pedestrian Road so it's very convenient to explore the area. However, it was a bit difficult to find and there are many Home Inn franchises in the city. Hotel room was spacious for a Shanghai hotel. It is very clean and the staff was helpful. Only 1 washer and 1 dryer.

The hotel is clean and okay. I got no issues with the hotel for this price point. The only downside is that the location is quite hard to find.

The room was really nice! Big and clean. It’s located on an alley very close to the main attractions, around 10 min walking nanjing road ! And 15-20 to the bund Waitan sightseeing platform

Perfect place, central, good location, 10 minutes from the bund walk and 20 from Yuyuan garden. Lovely and great staff. Spacious and neat room. I will repeat when I return to Shanghai.

We had a wonderful stay at Homeinn Selected Hotel. All staff were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The hotel room was very clean and overall very comfortable to stay in. I would recommend and come back again myself.

So far so good. Service is great, nearby all tourism locations. But, the entrance to hotel is just below expectations.

Plus: Good location: 10 minutes walk to East Nanjing Road and about the same to The Bund. Spacious room, has everything you need. There is tea, coffee machine and water in the lobby. Comfortable large bed - very good for two. Daily cleaning and clean room. Minus: The hotel is located in the courtyards and is not easy to find. The entrance is on a narrow path between the streets (see screenshot). It is clear that the hotel is a bit old and needs renovation. Very thin windows and therefore you can hear the air conditioner working all night, it prevents you from sleeping. One night there was a very strong smell of sewage, but then it disappeared.

Free laundry services and unlimited mineral water provided by Hotel!! Despite you need to pass through an alley to hotel, everything is above our expectations with this price range and location wise Photo attached as the fantastic view from our room

The receptions are helpful and informative. Love the location as its walking distance to some of the attraction like The Bunds, and Yu Yuan Garden.
