We stayed on the first floor with a group of three friends. The room was quite nice and comfortable. Housekeeping came every day, which we appreciated, although they didn’t always replenish the toilet paper. The bathroom had some drainage issues—the water took a long time to go down the shower drain, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, it was a good stay. The location is excellent—very convenient! It’s close to Nanjing Road, perfect for shopping, eating, and exploring. The East Nanjing Road Metro Station (Exit 1) is only a 3–5 minute walk away. If you have luggage, it’s better to use Exit 2, which has escalators, though it takes a bit longer to walk—around 8 minutes. Great value for money and a budget-friendly option.

Excellent location just 3 mins walk away from the Nanjing Road pedestrian street, and a 1 min walk to the riverside which in turn leads to the bund. The LAWSON convenience store beside was a godsend and I must have went there at least 5 times a day. Rooms were small but clean and reminded me of Japanese budget hotel chains. The bed came with 4 pillows and was extremely comfortable. Laundry room with free detergent was a bonus. For its price and location this property is unbeatable.

Liked this place! The location is super convenient — just about 300 meters from East Nanjing Road Station. You can take Exit 1, 2, or 3, but I highly recommend Exit 2 since it has escalators both up and down, and you pop up right inside the Hengji Celebrity Shopping Center, which makes it super easy, especially if you're carrying bags. The walk from the station to the hotel is nice too — lots of local food spots along the way. There are two small streets (Tianjin Rd and Ningbo Rd) with tons of restaurants, probably around 20 in total. Good prices and great variety. At the front desk, only one staff member spoke English, but they were all really helpful and friendly. Google Translate worked fine with the rest. Big shout-out to the housekeeping team — they were amazing. The room was cleaned daily, towels changed, and water refilled — very on point. We stayed in a family room, which is a duplex (two floors). The first room we got didn’t have a window and was a bit tight — hard to open luggage — but luckily the AC wasn’t working, so we got moved to another room with a window facing the street. That room was much better — clean, bright, and spacious enough for 3–4 people comfortably, just like in the photos. The air conditioning was super cold, which was great after a long day out, and the bed and pillows were soooo soft and comfy! There was a slight cigarette smell at first, but it went away after a day or two. Blackout curtains were great. Even though our room faced the street, it wasn’t noisy at night — Beijing Rd is surprisingly quiet, especially late. There’s a Lawson right next to the hotel, open 24/7, which was super handy. Also, there are a ton of shared bikes parked right outside the entrance — every color and brand you can think of — so getting around was easy. The bus stop is close, and you can get a Didi taxi right from the front door.

Train to Hangzhou and back to Shanghai during weekend are fulled. so, i decided to stay 1 more night in Shanghai and i choose to continue staying here as i stayed over here for 2 nights already and it’s so convenient to walk to the bund (around 1km), to East Nanjing road (4-500m) and easy travelling to many places by Metro. + good service minds of staffs and have laundry room for free. My mom love the most while Lawsons is next doors so my dad and my brother can buy snacks and beers easily at night and chilling at social area! Rooms are clean enough and maids come to clean everday (changing towels, clean toilet and doing bed)

Walking distance to Metro , foods and attractions. The room a bit small. For those carry big luggage is a bit difficult to do packing.

Superb good service clean and superb location value for money

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure everything was nice. The location is fantastic, as it's just a short walk from Metro Line 2. From the station, you simply exit at Exit 1, turn right, and walk for about 5-10 minutes – super convenient for getting around the city.

Very good price for the best location! Room is a little small but overall a good stay!

So good to stay

As we travel in groups, we have booked a few different room types. We love that hotel staffs are very friendly and willing to help, even we have a bit of language barrier. Room is ok, not bad not great, we slept comfortably every night. No cigarette odor.

Overall, it was a very good stay. The location is excellent! It's close to Nanjing Road, perfect to start the day in Shanghai.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the subway station, East Nanjing road, the Bund and lots of traditional eateries, making travel so convenient. The service and the room are very good. We are happy with our 4 night stay at this hotel.

Not soundproof at all. If you have a loud neighbour, best of luck... you hear everything. Also you need to ask the front desk to clean your room, which is a bit strange? Otherwise they don't do it.

The lobby was a bit messy when I checked in . It was under renovation. But overall the hotel is good. The location is very good!!
