The location is great for early flights but please be warned that you need to exit on exit number 17 and there is a lift there. Do not exit anywhere else otherwise you will find yourself struggling on the road as did I in the beginning . The gym is in a separate building. It has good weights and a treadmill. The service was attentive when sought it as though they needed to be given problems to solve. In a good way they are wonderful staff, the toilet was old when compared to other branches so understandable that it could look over used however I discovered too much mould on the tile grout which could be easily cleaned and spruced up with mould cleaner or some kind of bleach. If that was done it would have made the showers more comfortable rather than seeing lines of mould everywhere I was told that an attempt was made to clean but clearly it was not as much effort as one would do for their own home. The towels need to be replaced. they are ready to be used for other purposes now. I think that the head office needs to invest in keeping up appearances.  the front desk said that the hotel is older than other ones in the chain , I have so far used four of their locations (this was most expensive but lacked the feeling from others due to the above mentioned) also because I am a foreigner I am unable to register as a member and therefore I’m not able to benefit from any membership benefits it is better to consider foreigners without the Chinese phone numbers in future. For what I require the nights and the location and my flight the next day this hotel if the same requirements apply I will still rebook although I hope my suggestions are taken into consideration. thank you

Never book the executive suite in this hotel! The architecture plan has put those rooms to the insight without proper lighting. There is only a dark shaft which leads to the window. One large room with seating arrangement has no window at all. A lot of dead space!!! We changed rooms but didn’t receive the difference in money back, although it was a cheaper and smaller room.

I booked this hotel primarily because of the location. Its very close to the Maglev train that goes to the airport. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, Air conditioner was quiet. I had a good sleep. The room itself is modern and appeared to be very new. Check in was alright.

It is the second day in a row that I stayed in this hotel. This time makes me say that the hotel staff are good and friendly and I need to change my earlier review of the hotel. When ordering a Didi car the nap does not allow precise location of the hotel if you are not Chinese.

Excellent location, near the maglev station and train connection hub of the metro, hotel and rooms are all in great condition, well designed and super clean. Staff are all super friendly and helpful with all my inquiries. Breakfast is excellent and consist of Chinese and western food. All in all, superb hotel to stay in if visiting SNIEC for business!

Located just off exit 17 of the subway. The front staff was friendly and helpful. The floor of the room is not carpeted, which is clean and cool. Mineral water is always available in the bathroom as well as drinking water. The room is equipped with a device to repel insects, which is very thoughtful. It is also good to be able to charge the battery with a card even when the room is not occupied. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of dishes. There are many restaurants nearby. I would like to use this hotel again when I go to Shanghai.

Nice small modern & cosy hotel, clean & spacious with good enough facilities, convenient to get around, hotel is across the street to maglev station, longyang road metro station exit 17 is right at foot steps to the hotel and nearby SNIC to visit the exhibition (1 metro station), good service, nice breakfast with varieties of food for a small size hotel. Overall, the hotel is good & value for money.

Atour Hotel (Shanghai New International Expo Center Maglev Station) is an excellent choice for travelers seeking convenience, comfort, and modern amenities. This hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the longhua subway station. But if you take the right exit, it takes you right in front of it. The hotel is split into two buildings, i was staying in the other building separate to the main building however it was not a big deal given the standard of service from Atour. Breakfast also was very nice and i had a good time staying in the area.

Stayed for a night due to a transit flight. Hotel is conveniently located near the maglev line and there are a lot of local eateries around the area.

Really convenient location near Maglev, Service was very good, pillow was comfortable. We even received a small gift because of an electric outage due to construction. Only negative was cigarette smell in bathroom, although it's a non smoking room.

Power outage on the day of departure. That wasn‘t caused by the hotel, but I had to Walk downstairs, which is extremely difficult for me, as I am using a mobility scooter due to health reasons. In the process I forgot my toiletries in the bathroom as it was totally dark in there. I asked online for a minor refund, which the Hotel did not accept. That would be fine, of the Hotel would not have claimed, that nothing else than a toothbrush had been left behind. (As if I brushed my teeth only with water …). Will not be coming back, even though it is located conveniently next to the Maglev.

Location wise: It’s a short walk from the metro station exit to the hotel (there is a shortcut if you take exit 18 (i think?) where there’s an elevator up to the street level, where you just need to walk towards the hotel (there’s a mini police station near the lift exit, the hotel is located beyond the police station and the small carpark between the police station and the hotel)). However, this metro station is HUGE and it takes maybe 10 mins from one end of the station to the other. Other exits of the train station (on the other end) leads to a heartland-ish mall with food and drink options. Overall hotel stay: pretty good experience with a pretty big space for 2 luggages with extra walking space. TV doesn’t have much entertainment but that’s fine. Bed and pillow were rather comfortable (of a certain standard as this hotel brands themselves as a sleep hotel - a place where you can get quality sleep. Which was a pretty cool concept). A big thank you to the hotel staff - thanks for helping us out with the process of ordering food via the app (as we didn’t have a Mainland China number, which is required for the food delivery apps). Thank you for also accommodating to our request(s), appreciate it! A side note: The hotel has a laundry room, but the usage of the washer and dryer isn’t complimentary (it’s chargeable). Once again it was a pretty good stay! Thank you!

We had a 16H layover in Shanghai. They allowed us to check in very early and had the room ready in just minutes. Room is right next to the subway/maglev station, clean and great shower. They even have Tesla chargers with parking outside if you have an EV. I’d recommend this hotel for a short stay in Shanghai.
