Great location, right in the center of Shanghai. The room was comfortable, although a bit small for 2 people. Nice choice for food at breakfast.

This hotel is one of the best hotel I book in Shanghai. Room is very clean. Good location, just few minutes walk to subway. Also, the reception staffs are friendly and helpful.

Hotel with good location and services. Though the staff are limited with English communication but they are very supportive.

I’ve come to this hotel quite a few times over the past few years and overall, it does the job. Front desk staff are pleasant enough, rooms are clean, and it’s a great location near a subway station. It should be known, however, that apparently some of the rooms are Dragonball Z themed. After three years and maybe ten stays at this hotel, I had not come across this fact until I booked the day before my stay and Trip warned me it was the “last room” as I was booking. Boy, howdy were my partner and I surprised when we opened the door and found the whole room (luckily excluding the bathroom) plastered in giant pictures of DBZ characters. As I am a right side of the bed kind of lady, I had the honor of this giant picture of Freiza to wake up to. It’s not exactly a deal breaker, but it would have been nice to know that in advance. Again, one time out of ten isn’t bad, I just think a little warning from the front desk or Trip when booking would have been nice. If I were a ten year old boy, this would have 100% made my life.

Room still had dust and hairs over the floor and bathroom upon arrival. Cleaning was better on some days than others, floor was only mopped one time during a 7 night stay but not even once in the bathroom. The bed, shower and room were pretty nice, the view was nonexistent but got some nice air and light through the window. Aircon worked fine. No fridge sadly. Absolutely horrible soundproofing, woke up so many times because of loud noise from other guests or the staff (their walkie talkie was right outside my door one whole morning and I kept hearing static yelling through it, I was so annoyed). I’m usually not awoken very quickly, but I really did not sleep well because of this. Location was good, not right in the center but pretty calm and a good convenience store next door. Some nice restaurants nearby (see pic). Really close to metro station. I only talked to the reception 3 times. 1&2 were fine: 1. Check in 2. check out, but 3. I had a simple question. I used my translator app to ask the man where I can find the laundry room. He sighed at me as if it was a super hard task to point me to the room (he wasn’t even busy, only folding napkins or something). He was going to make his way over but then another member of staff walked past and he appointed him to show me instead. It was like 10 steps away. Was it really that hard and difficult??? Why so rude?!! Anyway, simply do not recommend because of the bad service, not that good cleanliness but mainly the exhausting noise waking me up many times. Consider these points before you book.

We booked Double Standard room Hotel is neat and tidy Its near Dashijie metro station which is easy to access around Breakfast in hotel was Ok but worth the price, Overall stay in hotel was good .

The hotel location is good as it's only around 250m from the 大世界 metro station. There's also minimarket just beside the hotel where we able to get things like water and snacks easily. Hotel is located within walking distance to attractions such as 豫园 and 外灘。 Hotel room is clean, bathroom is clean too. Room is considered quite spacious. The sound proof quality is poor though where you'd woke up by noices outside the room in the morning. Also we encountered some issue with the aircond, not sure whether it's because of the season change or what, the aircond is not cooling and quite stuffy in the room. (We stayed in April, and the room temperature is considered hot for a south-east Asian like me). Also the second day we experienced power outage issue where we gotta walk all the way down from Level 7, surprisingly there was no backup power for the lift. And luckily it happened only once during our 4 nights stay. Overall it's a fairly good staying experience.

The hotel got fire in the midnight and the arrangement is fair. The location is good which near the metro.

Clean and comfortable room with a great location, a short walk to the metro Dashijie exit 2 All are great except they have no soundproofing, we heard some noise from outside the room

The room is abit small as our luggage can’t leave it open. The mrt station is just opposite the road and there are several famous restaurants nearby. We asked the hotel manager to help to book a car to airport, but the taxi driver is not honest and charge us higher mileage.

Rest: The air conditioning worked very well, no noise from outside. Room: Acceptable size, with two good-sized single beds and two pillows. The bathroom is small with a shower area. Cleanliness: Adequate. WiFi: Not used. Breakfast: The oriental style was quite complete and varied daily. The western style included croissants, sliced bread, butter, jam, and donuts. Location: Very good, just meters from the metro station, with a short walk to The Bund. Notes: The young man at the front desk at night only said hello in Chinese and nothing more. He did not provide any explanations, did not mention the room number, where the elevators are, or the breakfast time and location.

Location: Very close to metro station Dashijie exit 5 or 6. (There is no escalator for exit 5) Service: Quite good. There is a daily cleaning service provided but for used glasses you need to clean by yourself. Room: Small and cozy Recommended.

I did not expect the hotel to be that great! It's really easy to access by walking to the centre. The breakfast is simple but very good, and it can suit European and Asian tastes. People are nice and friendly. I like our choice to stay at Home In Plus Shanghai.
