Fortune Zhixuan Hotel (Shanghai Hongkou Football Stadium) recensioner

The hotel is quite old. The carpet little bit dirty. The bed and pillow is good. Overal still ok. Easy to find the location. Can rent bicycle with alipay at front hotel.

It’s a really nice place clean not very far from the center

Very good price for it's value. Not super close to the Subway but acceptable. Perfect to stay to be near the universities.

Room looks exactly like on the photos. Metro station is about 15 minutes away on foot, so it's not that close. When we checked in the room, it smelled like cigarettes A LOT. Staff immediately changed our room, but there was no fridge and no little sofa. There are several restaurants around, so you won't be starving. All the attractions are about 5 metro stations away.For this money the hotel is great, I recommend it.

First of all, The staff are very friendly. Everyone of them, coz of traffic I got late.. and asked them if I check out 15 min later than the time.. and they agreed. Though the metro is at walking distance. If you're in a hurry that's not convenient. Also the e bikes are there right outside the hotel which makes it more convenient. Over all I enjoyed my stay here. Would recommend. Worth the price. Bund, Nanjing road etc are 4-5 stops away from the nearby 2 metro stops.

The room was amazing for the price. The staff were professional, and were able to communicate in English or with translation app. Will definitely book here again. View from the room was very nice.

This is a former Days Inn but now I think it's independent. Decent location. The hotel is a short walk from Hailun Road metro station (lines 4 and 10). There are nearby restaurants, a convenience store, the Fassco coffee shop, and a pharmacy. Service is very simple but the staff are kind. The facilities themselves are not great. The hallway is dim. The rooms are outdated. Room carpets are stained. The windows are not well sealed so you can hear traffic very easily. My room had a couch, it's upholstery was ripped in a couple of places. Despite these issues, I think that the cleaning staff try to do their best to make it comfortable.

About 500m away from nearest metro station. Metro station is close to most tourist area.

Loved the duplex room! Bus station right in front of the hotel but only problem is that the room was a bit too dark.

The hotel itself is quite good for the value. The reason why we wouldn't come back to this hotel is the bad service at the reception. There is one receptionist in particular who really gave us the feeling that we aren't welcome, because every time my friend asked her for help in chinese, she just rolled her eyes and was really annoyed. My friends Chinese is not perfect but she still has a high level where she can easily communicate with chinese persons so we thought her reaction was strange. The owner was nice but didn't say anything when he encountered this interaction. Same thing with her colleague who seemed annoyed every time we stepped into the door. I know that dealing with foreigners is difficult when you don't speak English but some of the receptionist definitely should work on their attitude especially when people already try to make an effort to speak in your native tongue. Overall the rooms were good, cleaning team was nice, the location is also okay but the hotel itself might seem impressive from the decorations but you can see that it needs some renovation (the roof was apparently leaking).

The hotel is not far from Yuyuan Garden and XinTianDi, as well as the tunnel to Pudong. Walking to the metro station takes around 10 minutes but we mostly took rental bikes to go there (foreigners can only use the blue HelloBikes). They can be parked in front of the hotel or at the nearby crossing and everywhere around the metro entrance. All in all, the hotel felt very outdated, both in terms of the looks of the interior and in terms of quality of the room. Some room cards stopped working, the bidet never worked from the beginning, the light switches and power sockets looked unsafe and it wasn't particularly clean. Even though we were three people, we only got 2 towels every day. However, we were still satisfied with our stay as it was quite cheap for Shanghai.

Room was great, old building, 10 mins walk from the metro, it was an okay experience

Good character of the staff and neat and clean room, i strongly recommended for foreigners.
