Excellent night in the Dear Hotel. Excellent service. Room a little smokey. Staff in the evening and morning were very helpful and went out of their way to help.

It was pretty same like a photo and the stuff was very friendly and helpful. I thought dears hotel should be 5 star hotel hehe. But the jakuzzi was bit dirty despite that everything is great the view and the environment. 😊

My second time at this hotel and I’ll still recommend. Easy to get around.

Second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I will continue to stay. It’s incredibly convenient: close to the train station, metro station and corner shops all around. Always fantastic to stay in. This room was smaller than my previous so was a little claustrophobic and grumpy about it but it was one night so totally fine

Be aware when staying here!!! There is so much wrong here i don’t even know where to begin. Firstly the staff doesn’t speak a singel word of English so every little thing we needed has to be done with a translator app. When we first arrived at the hotel it was hard to determine where the check in was. The staff was sitting down behind the counter and weren’t welcoming at all. We were given a high room as requested, but the art work behind the bed was ripped everywhere and there were food stains every where. The bathroom looked very outdated compared to the picture’s. We requested another room which was a lot better but there were still hairs on the floor and fake eyelashes sticking to the walls. There are signs of no smoking every where in the hotel, yet you can smell cigarettes very often, the people staying next to us were smoking out of their windows when the entire hotel is “smoke free”. When contacting the staff about it they said there is nothing we can do about it “sorry” We came from a hotel that didn’t have wash facilities so we were eager to wash our clothes here. But it turned into a complete nightmare. We washed our white clothing but they came our way more dirty and disgusting than when they went in. So we thought maybe there is something wrong with the washing machine so we used the other machine that was available but they made everything even worse. It seemed that their is some kind of mud, grease or lubrication substance from the washing machine that stained or clothes permanently. After spending nearly 2 hours talking (using a translator) they offered us so called dry cleaning which seemed the best solution seeing they didn’t want to pay for the damages to our clothing. When we received the clothes the stains were clearly still visible and it turned out they did never bring them to the dry cleaners, they just washed them in the washing machine that they use for the bedding and towels. They told us there is nothing they could do for us which is of no help at all. Even after asking to speak to the manger multiple times the same dumb answer came “Sorry the manager is currently not here” The house keeping is also not great at all, they just leave everything on the floor. It doesn’t matter if it is dust, hairs or something else they do not care or clean whatsoever. There is a water cooker in the room but if you want coffee or tea that isn’t available for the room. Besides that the glasses that they provide at the sink aren’t cleaned at all. We drank a soda from the glasses one day on when we had the room cleaned they weren’t even rinsed out they just turn them upside down on give them back to you with stains and everything still on them. What an absoluut nightmare and living hell our stay here was. Please think very thoroughly when staying here. Unless you want to have a bad time do not stay at this hotel. And see the attached picture’s for the reasons.

The aircon should be colder. It's only can reach around 27 celcius. And i think it will get hotter during summer. But they put air cooler in the room tho. Basically the room is funtastic. The view, bed, size. It's really good. And the best thing is they have jacuzzi. After 20km walk during day time, it's feels good to just relax the body in jacuzzi. Ah. And the location is not the best, you have to cross roads from metro. And the nearest in line 1. Need to walk further for Line 3 and 4. Overall it's a good value for money hotel in Shanghai.

Amazing service. The counter staff and housekeeping crew are friendly. There is a laundromat provided and they helped us with it we did not have a valid Mainland Chine phone number for using the laundry app. They even refused our tip and were so kind. Rooms were clean. Plenty of food nearby. The only thing that can be improved on is probably the brightness of their corridors which can be a little dim. Highly recommended.

It’s my second time booking this hotel. Spacious and clean rooms with a lovely view. Convenient location, close to the railway station and restaurants. I absolutely love it. Good value for money.

- near the train station (be prepared to still walk some distance especially for those with luggage) - nice and quiet rooms - good price performance ratio considering it is in Shanghai

Location: Extremely convenient. 5 mins walk from Shanghai Main Railway which made it easy for us to take trips out to Hangzhou and Wuxi. Amenities: Lawson and Family Mart just around the corner made it easy to get basic necessities. Being near the railway also gave us easy access to various food options even when it’s late. (highly recommend Yang’s Dumplings) Service: Highly satisfied with the service we received from Jius Hotel staff! We were landing in the wee hours of the morning (earlier than previously planned), hence we made a second booking so that we could catch some rest when we got to the hotel. We kindly requested if the staff could arrange it such that we could have one room for our entire stay. Not only did the staff facilitate our request, but also gave us a complimentary upgrade to 1-Room to make it happen. Room: Absolutely loved our stay at Jius Hotel. Room was huge and had a nice view of Suzhou River. A fun feature that we particularly enjoyed was how the room is smart configured, so you can close the blinds or off the lights entirely by voice control. And after a long day of exploring Shanghai, we always look forward to soaking in our very own jacuzzi. What really stood out for us was how comfortable the pillows are. This is the first time I have experienced such comfortable pillows over a hotel stay, so much so that we tried to ask the staff where the hotel got the pillows from. Overall, our stay at Jius Hotel was such a pleasant and wonderful experience. And for the given hotel rate on Trip.com, it has definitely been a steal for us. Strongly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Shanghai!

The room was nice and spacious. Location wise, it is very close to the Shanghai train station, it would be convenient for travellers who want to be close to the train station, however, since it was close to the train station, that area usually have some traffic, which could cause some inconvenience if you are taking taxi to go to the hotel.

This was a really nice hotel really enjoyed my stay here. Staff were very polite and helpful. Room was very nice.
