I was arranged a room where the air-conditioning wasn’t functioning. We only realised this around 11:30pm to 12am. When we informed the reception, the staff told us there were no other rooms available on the same floor, so she arranged for us to move from the 2nd floor to the 8th floor.
By that time, we had already unpacked everything, imagine the hassle of packing up again and dragging all your things upstairs in the middle of the night.
Still, we moved. But when we entered the new room, we found that some of the lights weren’t working. Once again, I called the receptionist, and she arranged yet another room — this time on the 5th floor.
I was confused earlier I was told the only available room was on the 8th floor. So why not arrange the 5th floor from the start?
And again, we had to move all our things, without any help from the staff. No assistance, no follow-up, and not even a simple apology when we checked out the next day.
It was a truly disappointing experience especially for a hotel that’s not cheap. There are better hotels with lower prices and much better service.
