The hotel location is convenience and hotel staff was very nice also the room was comfort and clean. Staff can speak english and so supportive. This is the gift they gave us when checkout :)

I have never been in such an unclean hotel before. I was first assigned room 615 but they changed it because I complained to the fact there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and I was breathing in the spores for the whole night. I include the photo I took. I got room 607 afterwards but then the last day when I was supposed to checkout, I hear some weird noise in the room. I open the light and behold. A cockroach strolling and I even saw it flying. While half asleep, I panicked and got to pick up my shoes and left the room to let the reception handle the situation and the guy wanted to offer me a new room upgrade but I refused and wanted him to fix the situation so I can organize my luggage and get out. The receptionist had the audacity to ask via translator: "Do you not dare go back to fetch your luggage?", making it look like it's my problem to handle. If I were a Chinese person, and not a foreigner struggling with the language this wouldn't go by without the whole hotel residents knowing how filthy this place is. This is my first time going to this hotel chain and I have been to many hotels across a lot of cities in China but never have I had to deal with these problems. I will never set foot in JI HOTEL again.

good hotel except disgusting strong smell of cigarettes on the floor and in the room. hotel must prohibit to smoke in the rooms. so i would not recommend who hate smells of cigarettes. i almost vomited🤮

I had a great stay! The hotel room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The bed was super comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. The location is also really convenient—close to everything I needed. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

This is my my second time to stay in JI Hotel (Shanghai People’s Square), the location is very close to Nanjing Pedestrian walk, Shopping malls, restaurants, public transportation like subway, bus station, it is 2mins to these areas. The hotel is very clean, specially font desks are very kinds and helpful which assist me to buy extra fabrics bag online and delivery timely to pack my stuffs after heavily shopping and buy delicious traditional cakes home as my luggage is out of space. I will accommodate in the hotel for my next trip In Shanghai and would recommend friends to stay in this hotel to witness, thanks!

Convenient location and friendly staff. However, I’m unable to retrieve my taobao parcel whilst staying and ended up checking out without my parcel in disappointment.

Room is a bit small but understandable due to location. Cleanliness, service, and location wise is good, just a few mins walk to Nanjing east road. Food is everywhere, very convenient. Recommend.
