Absolutely disgusting. I was fortunate enough to book only one night here—any longer and I would have had to endure its deplorable conditions. The room was filthy, and the corridor was equally neglected. A cloying, chemical scent—as if the entire place was doused in air freshener—permeated every corner, leaving me feeling like I was inhaling toxic fumes all night. To make matters worse, the shower water tasted as though it contained dangerously high levels of heavy metals. The only redeeming feature is the location: just a 10‑minute walk to the metro station, which offers a direct line from the airport in about an hour, and a short distance from the scenic waterfront. However, it’s inconveniently far from any convenience stores(about 15 minutes). I strongly advise avoiding this hotel at all costs unless you have absolutely no other option for a one-night stay. Pros: -Location (close to the Bund) -Cheap breakfast (35 rmb per person). There might be a discount too. There are not many places to eat breakfast at around. -comfortable bed -Good air conditioning -tea and coffee in the lobby Cons: -room size (it is tiny) -long wait for an elevator at times

Good choice of hotel for Shanghai. Room was nice and we were given opportunity to upgrade on the day to have a view of Pudong. Room was warm and welcoming, and had good amenities. Breakfast was nice, but quite busy and packed at peak times. Would stay again

Firstly,location is an issue especially in Summer as you will need to walk to a subway station which is 600 meters away and this will make you sweat right in the early morning.There are more other options nearby the subway stations and this will make your trip more comfortable and relaxing. Secondly,the actual size of the room is very small especially the bathroom, strange smell in the room when we first checked in, maybe it is because of the poor ventilation in the room.amenities of the hotel is rather old and need maintenance as you can see that water leakage in the front door of the hotel. Thirdly, there is almost nothing in the surrounding of the hotel, most of the shops nearby look empty and abandoned , you will need to walk 500 meter just to get to a convenience store for drinking water. My conclusion, I do not recommend this hotel to other travelers.And my advice is ,There are many good hotels nearby that are cheaper in price and convenient ,trust me!

Booked last minute & was reasonable for the price. Room was very small but we weren’t in it for long so we wasn’t a problem for us. Clean & compact is all you could need. 10-15minute walk to The Bund

The street was difficult to find but once we arrived, we were impressed with the hotel & the service. Really nice place for a one night stay. The staff upgraded us to a larger room but we were given a smoking room rather than a smoke free which we would rather not have had. Overall though, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others - just make sure you request non-smoking!

It’s located in the area that could make a person walking alone at night feel unsafe but it’s a short walk (about 8 minutes) to the Bund. They have only one elevator, so you might have to wait to get to your room sometimes. However, we arrived around 8:30 in the morning but they can manage to let us check in immediately, which we were so grateful. The standard of the room keeping team kept fluctuating. Some days, they could keep it well. But some days, they didn’t even wash your used tea cups. Staff are great tho. They are willing to help.

First off, the rooms are small. Small room with a low ceiling. It’s not the most comfortable space especially when you have 2 people with 2 luggage, there’s just barely enough room. The pictures don’t capture how small the room is. The people at the front desk were friendly enough. They helped me order some takeaways a couple of times so that was nice. The bed was comfortable but the AC was somewhat erratic to set right. Another thing to note is that the phone in the room won’t allow you to call other rooms, which was a huge inconvenience for me because we had 2 rooms on opposite ends of the floor. I checked with the front desk about this and they said yeh the phone won’t allow that. In terms of location it was pretty good. Close to The Bund and close to many shopping complexes and a short walk to many eateries. Breakfast is average (not the worst), but their plain congee is good if you like congee. Have the breakfast if it’s included with your booking, otherwise, I wouldn’t pay for it. Strangely enough, my room booking only allowed for one person to have breakfast even though the room was for 2 people.

Great hotel with lovely reception (can’t speak English) and an amazing location right next to the bund, nanjing road and the metro. Only cons were the rooms are quite small (not much space for two people’s luggage) and initially smelled of cigarettes (can air the room by opening windows).
