We booked a premier panoramic river view of the huangpu river for our 31st wedding anniversary. The hotel did not disappoint us and we have very nice experience in this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was exceptionally comfortable, and the staff were incredibly polite and attentive. Everything was impeccably clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. Additionally, the view from the window was stunning, making my experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay! The breakfast buffet had too many delicious and healthy food!

- Bathroom surfaces filled with stains. - Men's changing room was all wet and dirty with some shower knobs either broken or missing. - No shower gels in the Men's shower area for swimming pool. - Sauna was not working to start with. Upon numerous trials, it turned on and never got hot enough. - I'm not sure if this is even a spa hotel? Not the standards I would expect from a 5-star hotel to say the least. - Some staff were kind and friendly whilst others seemed very upset to even help you and had a very frustrated look on their faces. - Definitely not worth, 3500 CNY for a night stay at this hotel. Would recommend other hotels such as W, Peninsula or St.Regis if river views are desired

The hotel room had a very good view and a large tub. Breakfast was good with champagne served. More importantly, the service by Jennie, Deslin and Flora was warm and friendly and made the stay a pleasant one.

Great breakfast buffet, lots of selections Chinese and western cuisine. Very friendly service and good room, even though for the price the rooms could be a little more modernised, the air conditioning was a little loud as in most hotels. But it’s simply great to have a small pool in the room

I enjoyed the trip comfortably with Deslin's kind response. As I saw in other reviews, the facility was old, and the smell of the room with the bathtub was not refreshing. Securit staff Hillary is nice and helpful at the driveway. the water pressure of room shower facilities are weak, need to be improved. overall is a good experience when we stay in hotel.

The room was amazing with a stunning view. On the whole it was a fantastic stay but there were one or two issues- 1. The yoga mats in the gym were filthy. And 2. I was bothered on a few occasions by cleaners or people coming to knock on the door e.g.the cleaner came inside the room even though I said it was too late and I didn't want the room to be cleaned now. It was around 5pm and no one had cleaned the room during the day, but by that time I was ready to relax. There was a language barrier so she just came in and started replacing snacks and drinks and tried to start cleaning up in the bathroom and I had to ask her to leave. I noticed before I left that there was a button for 'do not disturb' but it wasn't obvious so it would be good for the staff to mention that when showing you to your room. I also think it's a good idea for them to have a book with information regarding the restaurant, gym, spa etc.etc. there's some info on the TV but it isn't very detailed.
