We had a great stay. The facilities, the service, and the activities were very good. Bob was very friendly and helpful, he made our stay even better. We highly recommend this hotel.

Bob's service was excellent and very prompt. His service assisted us to enjoy a well deserved trip . Highly recommend.

We brought our 2 year old daughter here for 3 days and 2 nights. We had a okay but slightly underwhelming experience. The pros: The suite was large and spacious, and had a powder room attached to the living room The hotel was not busy (in the middle of November) and we enjoyed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere The hotel has several kid-friendly activities/amenities on site, including an artificial beach, indoor playroom and a small farm where you can feed animals The hotel is a relatively short drive from central Shanghai The hotel staff were generally friendly and helpful, and our butler kindly arranged for us to check in early The cons: The indoor playroom is dated and the air inside was stale. Despite it being closed for cleaning during lunchtime everyday, I noticed a fair amount of debris and hair in the ballpit and sandpit. While there was a good range of animals on the small farm, the animals were dirty and not well kept The separate area for feeding cats was also dirty and some of the cats did not look healthy The buffet breakfast was below average We ate at both of the hotel restaurants and found the food mediocre and overpriced

Nice hotel, the bedrooms are spacious with bathtub. The swimming pool is big but the water could be cleaner

Bob service is so great！He can cooperate your check in and check out schedule and lots of other service.

Is a nice place for weekend outdoor and noidy city..

Beautiful location, lots to do with children. Indoor and outdoor pool very good even with small children. Room itself clean, but the carpets could be cleaned/vacuumed better. General problem with carpets, maybe just remove carpets in the room...rather unhygienic especially with a crawling toddler. Service was good, very friendly, although sometimes a bit slow and you always had to make them aware yourself that you needed cutlery or napkins etc.

We were very disappointed with our family room and the amenities. We booked two rooms, one family one and one regular room and they were both identical in size and layout. We noticed that other family rooms have a tent and children's toys, but we did not have any. This might have been due to the fact that the hotel was at capacity during our stay. Given we have 3 young children (all 4 and under inducing an infant) we arrived 30 mins before check in to ensure a smooth process. However, after countless trips to the checkin counter, our room wasn't ready until after 5pm! And when we finally entered the family room, there were many things missing, like bar soap and towels. Regarding the activities on site, be prepared to pay additionally for basically everything. If you don't bring your own swim caps, they will charge you around 100rmb each including for your kids. Lastly, be aware that the animals at the petting zoo are not all kept healthy. We were pretty horrified at the state of the cow, horse, and dog in particular. They were constantly trembling (in 70 degree weather) and covered in flies. It was sad and very tough to explain to our kids.

Great amenities for the children. Pool, Sky-dome, petting farm and soft play were the children’s favourite.

The GOOD: Rooms were spacious and bedding was comfortable. Pool was nice and service overall was attentive. The BAD: Western menu selection and execution could use major improvements. THE UGLY: Shower tile grout was FULL of SCUM....totally unacceptable. Can't understand how management can allow such glaring oversight. Room was 3068. Go take a look at it.

It was an awesome location great views and scenery, coupled with excellent family and kids friendly facilities such as the indoor swimming pool, mini animal farm, indoor playground and many other outdoor activities. :) The services provided by the housekeeper, Bob, was fantastic. He is friendly, knowledgeable, considerate and very approachable. Will return again next time! 😊

The place is a five stars but I’d rate it four stars ! It is not as clean ,I think the hotel needs renovation. I liked their balcony. Breakfast didn’t meet my standard. I think it’s overpriced . They don’t change bedding and clean daily unless you tell them. But overall the staff is nice and helpful.

We quite frequently stay at this hotel. The location is beautiful, Shishan park and botanical garden in walking (or cycling) distance. Delicious breakfast buffet. One wish is left open, namely that the construction in the park finds an end, so one can enjoy an undisturbed walk around the garden, without being stopped by green fences, blocking the way because of construction area (that never seemed to change much over the last two years anyway....)
