Central Hotel Shanghai recensioner

Located right on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The location is truly unbeatable — you’re in the heart of downtown Shanghai with direct access to shopping, restaurants, and metro lines. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, staying here puts you right in the middle of the action.

Easy to access, room was big and clean. It will be better if concierge was more helpful and offering luggage delivering to rooms.

Perfect locations just 1 minute by walk to Miniso shop and the room is very new and clean.We definitely stay here again next time.

Good price and great location for all destinations good view and good food

Everything good except for the shower, I have to be careful because some water can spill out of the shower and wet all the bathroom

In between East Nanjing Metro & People’s Square Metro (just about 7 mins walk) & also direct Metro to Airport 2. shops & attractions are within walking distance  3 lots of eating house around the corner Housekeeping  1. good service  2. polite  3. fast response cause we requested cleaning alternate days & requested for replenish of drinking water Room 1. clean  2. good view 3. The room is spacious and clean. Within walking location to The Bund and shopping areas in Nanjing East. Great view from the room. Staff are friendly and can converse in English. For a big room and prestigious hotel, the television is small and does not have streaming channels, so I was stuck watching shows in chinese or dubbed in chinese, which I do not understand. :(

My stay was comfortable

The location is good located in the heart of Nanjing rd, not far from MRT and just 10 mins walk to the bund. Breakfast are also nice. The room interior is good timeless classic design, so more details love it. Good price, overall is beyond expect.

Excellent location. The room was very comfortable. The staff is really nice and efficient. The hotel needs some renewal; there are no USB connections, and the window could not close well, so the wind just entered the room whistling. Breakfast was a bit disappointing for what I expected and paid—not enough fruits, only one type of cheese. Anyway, I would be happy to stay there again.

Comfortable and clean though the equipment a bit dated. Convenient central location between People‘s Square and the Bund, Metro 5 min walk. Breakfast selection limited and several coffee machines out of order.

pretty nice antique hotel in a heart of Shanghai CBD & Nanjing Lu, at a pretty reasonable price, breakfast is ok but western type breakfast is better than most Chinese hotel I’ve been to (even compared to the higher level), staff is helpful, English speaking from all levels, receception to maid, they even have a robot delivering my outlet adapter to the room OMG

Stay 4 nights....very near to NANJING ROAD, easy to get great foodies, the room is so spacy & comfy. Will come back if visit shanghai
