The hotel, while slightly older, is thoughtfully designed, offering a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The service is consistently polite and professional, adding to the overall positive experience. Its location is excellent, situated next to a beautiful park and within walking distance of numerous shopping options. The spa is well-designed and provides a tranquil setting for relaxation. We particularly appreciated the gender-separated whirlpool, allowing for some peaceful, personal time. Overall, the combination of service, design, and location makes this hotel a pleasant and restful stay.

The PuLi always exceeds my expectations. Taylor excellent service and Jamie’s friendly approach made this stay memorable. The ambiance is perfect for relaxation, and the rooms are exceptional. Every visit is better than the last!

Amazing service. I have stayed in a dozen 5-star hotels in Shanghai. This is the best, at least for business travellers.

My favorite hotel in China and Asia. Best location, design and service. Will always return to Shanghai to stay at the Puli.

What a spa. Great Finnish sauna and steam bath. Divided for men and women and even a hot water mini pool. Already missing it.

We reached early at 12 so we couldn’t check in. However the hotel helped to bring the luggage up to the room while we were out, so when we came back in the evening to get the key, we could go straight up to the room. Room amenities are good, with free mini bar drinks replenished daily. The lobby cookies are free too and very delicious! On the first night, we had problems with the Bluetooth speaker as customers from other rooms kept connecting to our speaker, giving us a shock when music played out of nowhere. The hotel was very apologetic and gave us a fruit platter and a small bottle of red wine to make up for it. On the first night they also did turn down service for us, which was very nice of them. But they didn’t do it on the second night - would have been an even better experience if they did so. When we checked out we also asked them to help with the luggage and the staff (a young guy) who came to assist us was extremely helpful. He even helped to arrange our luggage in the car boot (we did have a lot of lugagge)! The food delivery locker outside the hotel lobby was also very useful! I made v good use of it. The only thing stopping me from giving it a 5/5 is that it gets very dark at night between the first main door and the second door that enters into the hotel lobby. The doors are also very heavy, I assume to block out the wind. Sometimes there’s a staff there to help with the door, but often there isn’t. So when it’s dark and you have to mind your step and still have to push open the heavy door, it’s really quite frustrating.

The room is very comfortable, with excellent sound insulation. The service is very considerate, and getting around in the vicinity is convenient.

First time at the PuLi in shanghai and I gotta say what a treat. Very appreciative of the staff professionalism. Particularly Camille who made my stay even better with upgrading my room when I arrived, and for the little gifts all along my stay. The room was immaculate, this management must be really religious about cleanliness! Loved the Spa area, even more that I could enjoy it alone most of the time I was there. I will be back, thank you Camille and your team.

Puli hotel is located in Jing An, a vibrant commercial district in west bund. The hotel arrival is well designed and secluded, away from the busiest of Shanghai street. The hotel interior is nice and welcoming. Staff is attentive and friendly. Something to comment on the customer experience. I left my stuff in the Pudong Art museum after a visit, and the hotel send their staff to get it back for me - with me paying the cab fare only.
