This was my first time staying at Puli, and it was absolutely wonderful! This was a birthday treat to myself and I was made to feel very special during my staff. Had a two hour massage, enjoyed the heavenly food in the restaurant, enjoyed all the lovely room facilities (including the bath with a city view). The food room service was restaurant level as well not to mention the delightful, considerate and attentive staff. I might even come back next year! Oh! I forgot! The pool!!! It’s gorgeous, even just for sitting and book reading. Thank you 💕📚

The hotel, while slightly older, is thoughtfully designed, offering a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The service is consistently polite and professional, adding to the overall positive experience. Its location is excellent, situated next to a beautiful park and within walking distance of numerous shopping options. The spa is well-designed and provides a tranquil setting for relaxation. We particularly appreciated the gender-separated whirlpool, allowing for some peaceful, personal time. Overall, the combination of service, design, and location makes this hotel a pleasant and restful stay.

Beautiful hotel with well designed lobby and rooms. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Jing An. Staff are super professional, very attentive and look after you well. One downside is a fundamental for a hotel, we didn’t get one good nights sleep. The beds are great but the room was too warm, even in early spring when the temperature was still low outside. However, the air con was very loud, even on low setting, so to sleep you either had the noise or it was too hot. One night there was also very loud road construction noise from outside from 3-5am. It’s a city, so this happens but other hotels in Shanghai that we’ve been to before seem to make it their business to know and take proactive measures in like informing and apologizing to guests in advance, putting guests in rooms away from the noise, or at least providing earplugs.

It was a great stay. The hotel is well located nearby plenty of good eateries of walking distance, very clean and super professional. I would specifically like to commend William, who was the concierge on duty. He was fantastic at handling our numerous requests with the highest professionalism and efficiency. It was a great stay. The gym was also really well maintained - to use the swimming pool you’ll have to have a swimming cap. The gym and pool is on the third floor and the toilets there are a bit more advanced (automatic bidets) as compared to the ones in the room - this is a minor point and didn’t affect the wonderful stay but a potential point of improvement
