Hebei Hotel

Det kallas en smart toalett, men den är faktiskt mer omodern än en vanlig toalett

The location of this hotel is excellent. Just 10 minutes walk from Shanghai train station. Breakfast was a typical Chinese breakfast buffet of foods such as fried rice, noodles, stir fry veges,, boiled egg and dumplings. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not. Staff used translations on their phone to communicate. They do their job, but don't go out of their way to help.

great location, but couldn't find the shortcut from the station on the map. there is a big construction going on and it was noisy

Clean and neat room, lam on the 10th floor, view is quite nice, also they ve free laundry service at 6th floor

The room was nice and clean with basic utilities and amenities. Close to Shanghai Station. The food and store around the hotel were few. Most staff cannot speak English, fully use of translation app. A day-shift male receptionist with bracelet were hospitable and zo kind, also looing good.

The hotel was a bit hard to find for someone who doesn't speak the language. None of the staff speaks English, but well, it's not a touristic hotel, so I guess it's understandable of course. The room was spacious, bed was hard but comfortable, there was all the basic amenities in the room. Everyday they would give you some free bottle of water and toilet paper. They would also change the bedsheets if you ask. There is a construction site at 20 meters from the hotel, but it was mentioned on the site before the booking, so, no problem there. Only downside is that everything is very old in the room and not maintained at all, windows was not shutting down properly, the curtains were so old that they were breaking down in some parts. But, for the value, it is definitely worth it. Location is great, the hotel is cheap. The cleaning lady is super nice, even tho she doesn't speak english, she still managed to help me to make the washing machine and dryer work, very nice of her !!!! When I'll be back to Shanghai, i will definitely visit again. Great value if you don't want to spend too much, it is still a very decent place if you're not too fancy.
