The hotel is very well positioned near the Bund and the shopping area, not far from the metro. A good value for money
About a 15 walk from People’s square station. It’s also a short stroll to the shopping up of Century Square. There are lots of restaurants and hole in the wall noodle / dumpling shops that are cheap and cheerful.
The rooms however are quite small for their price, almost like a bedsit. Very cramped bathroom 🚽 and shower recess you have to turn around on the spot to get fully washed.
The weird rabbit mural on the wall should be relaced with something more contemporary and easy to look at.
The hotel was under renovation but they leave building materials on the stairwell and the corridor and it looks unsightly.
For the size of the room and the price they charged for one night, I genuinely feel I got short changed and will probably stay around Jing’An Temple next visit.
The hotel's price is expensive but no elevator and any helping from staff, especially the night staff. The room is tiny. However, apart from the advantage of being close to Nanjing pedestrian street. I couldn't find anything praiseworthy. Very disappointing!
The room was not very clean, there was a lot of hair on the floor and in the bathroom there were signs of mold in the bathroom!
I do not recommend and would not stay at this hotel again.
Although he room was small and our "room with a window" looked out on an alley, it was comfortable and a good price for Shanghai. It was an easy walk to the pedestrian street and close to the Bund and to the People's Square subway station. We had a little trouble finding it, and there was no sign in English, so we wandered around a bit trying to locate it on a map. The bathroom was nice and pleasant. There were lots of good little restaurants and shops near by, and, of course, it's easy to get to top places in Shanghai!
The hotel is very well located, the manager was very friendly and helped me with many things I needed. I recommend it, but when you choose a room, choose one with a window.
This hotel is okay, I will not recommend it as it is clean but not that clean. The floor in the room is slightly sticky, the bathroom is leaking and soundproof is quite bad. Luckily I only booked for one night.
