Ginco Hotel

Will stay again! I booked this last minute because I wasn’t satisfied with the hotel I had originally booked, so I decided to switch hotels the same day. The room was exactly as shown in the photos and advertisements. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. I really loved the bed, pillows, and even the slippers! On top of that, they provided a Dyson hair dryer, a Nespresso coffee machine, and even gave me a gift when I checked out! The room was spacious, perfect for solo travelers. The location was also great. Additionally, they have a locker for food deliveries, so you don’t have to worry about your food going missing if you don’t have a Chinese phone number. I will definitely stay again when I return to Shanghai for work!

A great hotel tucked in the beautiful streets of Jingan District. We enjoyed our stay at Ginko and loved how it’s in the heart of everything especially when you want to visit attractions scattered all over Shanghai. You are just a didi away. The bathroom was large and well equipped and my kids loved having a bath in the tub every night. The bed was spacious enough to sleep a family of four with two young children. The breakfast at the hotel is very basic and our only call out with this property. If you want good food for the family there are quite a few restaurants close to the hotel. Ragu was a nice little Italian place for the family. There is also Orchard CRC if you want to get a quick Singaporean meal just around the corner from the hotel. There is also a lot Cafes around the property if you want your caffeine fix. Just walk around and explore.

Lovely hotel. Very calming with great staff and services. Would highly recommend - will come again when in Shanghai.

Location is good and good room size. But the sound proof is very bad as it is an old building convert.

The hotel located in a central area 7-10 minutes walk from the famous Jinang Temple. Close to all restaurants, cafes and supermarkets near by. The hotel services and care was absolutely kind and caring for all my needs! The staff are very welcoming and helpful with everything you will need! Would definitely be back to this special hotel

i love the room so much and they’re upgrading me to biggest room and the bathtub probably my fav and the bed very comfy!
