Campanile Hotel (Shanghai The Bund) recensioner

Location: Strategically located near to The Bund, Nanjing Pedestrian Street and Yuyuan Garden. Nearest metro station is Yuyuan Garden which is about 10-15 mins walk. Or you can take DiDi to the station which costs not more than 15RMB. Room and toilet: Room is clean and comes with 2 bottles of water daily. You can always ask for more water from the reception. Toilet is also clean. Basic amenities like toothbrush is provided upon request. There is hair dryer, electric kettle, tea and instant coffee, mini fridge provided in the room. Price: Definitely value for money. Others: Hot water and tea bags are provided at the hotel lobby. There is also a foosball table at the lobby if you’re up for some games. There is a convenience store next to the hotel where you can get some bread, snacks, all kinds of bottled drinks, ice cream and basic necessities.

The hotel is extremely well located! Nearby are the Bund, Nanjing Street. Quick check-in, the room is clean, construction work is nearby, but the noise ends around 8 p.m.

The aircon doesn't work. When asked, the staff just smiled at you without providing for solution (eg. Portable fan). Thumbs down 👎 Do not recommend this hotel!

Overall a good location: 8min walk to the Dashijie subway station and 10min walk to Yu Garden. We liked the rooms and the robot! Breakfast is all right, there is good bread and jam variety. Only the scrambled eggs were always very dry maybe because of the way they cooked a large amount. Good coffee machine. Staff very nice, helpful and mostly spoke English.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was very comfortable and super clean. It’s also really convenient — just a 5 to 7-minute walk to nearby restaurants. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean and cozy place to stay!

Of the four hotels I stayed in during my trip around China, this was by far the best. Good front desk, clean and well serviced room, large breakfast and - most importantly - was quiet.  Would recommend and stay again for my next visit to Shanghai

Very nice hotel with good location in Shanghai. The hotel is close to Dashijie Metro Station and East Nanjing Road station.

We stayed in this hotel during our Shanghai trip. The location is good. It takes only 15minutes walk from The Bund. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Good clean hotel. Staff very helpful saving best local attractions. Close and walking distance to the Bund and Nanjing Road. Try and go to the Bund at night and try the street food in Nanjing Road.

The location of the hotel was perfect,close to major attractions.Breakfast was basic.Amenities are great,most importantly environment friendly However,we had to pay for the laundry(First time in my life I had to pay for the laundry in the hotel)and AC had a problem.Service was ok.

I was very satisfied with the hotel. The location was very great, the service was very good and most importantly, the breakfast was nice. Definitely coming back to this hotel again when coming to Shanghai.!

This was our second stay here but in a different room type, it definitely was a much better stay than previous. The facilities are neat and clean however, you're paying for the location, considering it's a 3 star hotel. The breakfast is basic but good enough to grab and go on with your day.
