Wassim Hotel (Shanghai Chuansha Metro Station)

Overall a great hotel. Clean, nicely decorated, with tall ceilings. We arrived about 1-2 hours early for check-in, but the receptionist had no issue with that and tried to find if there was a room available and ready for us. We also appreciated how much water we were given. And the fact that they accepted packages for us a couple of days before we had arrived. The location is close to the airport (4 stops with subway), which the hotel offers shuttle bus for to. The subway is 2-3 minutes down the street, and right beside a sizeable mall. But the main point for choosing this hotel was the shuttle bus services it offers to Disneyland. The only downside is it took a lot to figure out how to get put on the shuttle bus back to the hotel, as we couldn't speak or read Chinese and everything was communicated on WeChat through some sort chainlink message system. All in all we enjoyed our stay, it was a good start to our trip.

I checked in late, so I couldn't check the outdoor view. It must have been a little frustrating because it was a room on the first floor. It was nice to be able to use the airport seeing-off service. The subway station and BaiLian are very close.

- Room is so spacious and hygiene. Bed and pillows are soft and perfectly support my sleeping. - Breakfast is good, even there are not too many choices but full with all nutrition sources. - Service is extremely great since check-in until check-out. I and my family are happy with the hotel's warm assistance. - Extra service of bus from/to Disneyland & Putong airport is perfect and on time I am so happy with everything from this hotel. Only the concern for sharing to readers (but not for me - I slept very well) ) is the hotel is located at the main road which may cause annoying those who are sensitive to noises but the hotel provides you ear plugs just in case.

Surprisingly the hotel breakfast are rather good, it’s not a big selection but food tastes good. Welcoming fruits are provided daily in the room. Staffs are helpful and doing their best but hotel needs to improve its amenity, 4–5 washing machines against one dryer simply does not make sense. Put more dustbin around walking corridor please. Laundry is self service, I left with no choice but request help from staff to put my cloths into dryer after washed due to someone timed the dryer for 2.5hrs. I am grateful that the staff helped me out while I collected the dry clothes 6am at front desk. There’s transport provided to Disney and a good local shopping mall opposite the subway station but take some walk. Gotten lost during returned but a helpful local young lad help lead me back. I met many kind ppl around Shanghai, great city and great ppl.

Amazing staff! Super friendly and above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. Very convenient to get to PVG and Disney. Would stay here again for sure!

The hotel is conveniently located near the MRT station and Disneyland. I really appreciate their shuttle bus services to/from Disneyland back to the hotel, as well as the airport transfer. The staff was helpful and even advised me on the best exit to take when I traveled to Disneyland using Didi early in the morning.
