Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Xujiahui offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and modern style in one of Shanghai’s most vibrant districts. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-designed, featuring comfortable beds and city views. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide international and local selection. Staff are friendly, professional, and attentive to details. Its location near Xujiahui Metro Station makes it ideal for exploring the city, shopping, or business trips. A dependable and well-managed hotel for both leisure and business travelers.

Stayed in this hotel for around a week - overall great experience given the price. Location is one of the best in Shanghai - it’s across the road from line 1 and 7, which gets you to many attractions, and it’s one of the subway stations that are easier to navigate too - you can go towards huaihai road, and xintiandi, or you can go back, into xuhui district and explore meiluocheng, or you can go across to jingan temple, and along there. Furthermore, it’s a very short walk from some of the trendier shops on anfulu and so on. I have stayed numerous times in Shanghai now and it is difficult to top this location regardless of hotel pricing/prestige. I barely took the taxi my stay here, as it is also on some nearby bus lines. I had a room with a view, which was lovely indeed. The toilets are very very clean as they are disinfected after pretty much every use, and the washroom facilities are decent too, but slightly dated and the water pressure is mediocre. The room is very small - I personally am fine with tiny capsule-esque hotels but my luggage (26inch) was difficult to open fully and still have space to sit and walk, which is one thing that makes me carefully reconsider staying here again. Another thing is that there is one lift for this hotel which is on the higher floors, which means waiting for the lift can take a while too, especially if you order food and go to collect it on floor 18, but then you have to wait for the lift to go down and up again if you live on floor 17 or 19. Overall, for the price paid, experience is pretty good.

I like this hotel for it's clean and cozy environment. Lots of restaurants and eateries around so it's easy to find food. Nice to chill along the waterfront. I love the hotel breakfast. Had some problem during check-in but was quickly resolved by the manager. Only setback is its distance to the subway.... at least a 15-20 mins walk so it's dreadful in the hot weather.

Rumsfaciliteterna är verkligen gamla, särskilt hårtorken och vissa uttag fungerar inte bra. Man kan sitta avslappnat till frukost, och när det är mycket folk måste man nästan dela bord. Efter att ha ätit i tre dagar var den kinesiska maten annorlunda varje dag. Den andra dagen var allt utsökt, men på den tredje dagen kände jag att det inte fanns något jag gillade. När det gäller service kan utbildningsnivån på ett femstjärnigt hotell fortfarande ses, men vissa människor är entusiastiska och andra är kalla. Receptionen och conciergen är de mest tillfredsställande.

Personalens serviceinställning var mycket bra När jag checkade in visade de mig flera rum som jag kunde välja mellan. I synnerhet var det en liten klockare som ringde en taxi åt mig och ledde mig till bilen. Hennes attityd var väldigt entusiastisk. Hotellet har ett utmärkt läge, cirka 5 minuters promenad från tunnelbanestationen South Shaanxi Road. Det finns många kaféer och småborgerliga restauranger, och det är mycket bekvämt för stadsvandringen i Wutong-distriktet i början av mars Det är varken kallt eller varmt i tonåren och det är mycket bekvämt att gå.

Metropolitan Seclusive Life is beautifully located on the charming and historic Wukang Road, just a few minutes’ walk from the iconic Wukang Mansion, making it an excellent base for exploring one of Shanghai’s most atmospheric neighborhoods. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. The staff promptly assisted us with our luggage, and although our room was not yet ready, they offered to store everything securely while we went out to explore the area. The surrounding neighborhood is a pleasure to wander, with tree-lined streets and a very good specialty coffee shop just nearby. When we returned about an hour later, our luggage had already been delivered to our room, an appreciated and thoughtful touch. The room itself was compact, especially with our three Rimowa trunks, which understandably took up most of the space. There is a small operable window that lets in some natural light, though the room remains slightly dim overall. The bathroom, however, was well-appointed with complete amenities, and the minibar was impressively stocked: coffee and tea, still and sparkling water, sodas, juices, fresh fruit, and even White Rabbit candy. Breakfast was a highlight of the stay. Served in a beautiful space within the restored building, the breakfast was both delicious and generous, with a wide variety of offerings and excellent quality throughout.

Our stay was perfect! Place was spotless and location is very convenient if you’re going to Tianzifang / Xintiandi area. Shoutout to the staff as they were very efficient, responds really fast on wechat and all of our deliveries were quickly handed to us by the hotel robot. Something that I would recommend is to put dishwashing liquid in the kitchen so we could wash dishes ourselves and to put scissors in the kitchen. Also for foreigners, the lights / aircon is voice activated using Xiaodu in Chinese but it can be easily operated through google translate. But it was still a very pleasant stay, better than your typical hotel that costs the same!

Jag bokade det för en familj som besökte Shanghai, rekommenderat av en kollega. Läget är utmärkt, inom gångavstånd från Hengshanlu tunnelbanestation, där Yongping Lane ligger. Lobbyn är fylld av julstämning. Personalen är vänlig. Rummet var rent och bekvämt. Kan definitivt använda detta hotell igen nästa gång.
