Marriott-boenden i Shanghai

I suppose one cannot go wrong with the Marriot brand.. Excellent service and amenities. Excellent large room. Air-conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. Good selection of tea/coffee Wide selection at breakfast. Good coffee (Justin coffee machine - not heard of before but good selection) Not so good, can improve :- Lobby was always crowded - it could be because of some ongoing corporate event.. But it lessened the experience, due to the crowds and no availability of empty seating at lobby level. The car entrance to the hotel is good.. But the exit is very narrow and crowded due to parked delivery trucks, garbage bins etc. My DiDi had to navigate quite a bit to get out of the hotel and get on our way..

My family and I recently stayed at the Shanghai Agile Marriott Hotel City Centre while visiting Shanghai, and if I had to sum up my two-day experience in one word, it would be ”impeccable”! From the moment I stepped out of the car, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. First and foremost, I must give a huge shout-out to Koi from the front desk! From the start, Koi greeted us with a sincere smile that instantly made us feel at ease. Not only was she highly efficient, but she was also incredibly attentive. We arrived a bit too early before our check-in time. Seeing that we had luggage and elderly parents with us, she quickly arranged a quiet room on a high floor near the lift for us. She also patiently explained the hotel's facilities and breakfast. Thanks to her enthusiastic service, our travel fatigue melted away, and our first impression of Shanghai couldn't have been better! As for the hotel itself, the location is absolutely superb! It's just a few minutes' walk to the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and it’s incredibly convenient whether you want to go shopping or see the night view at the Bund. The room was pure Marriott quality – spacious, bright, with comfortable bedding, and a beautiful view of the bustling city skyline. Watching the lights of Shanghai at night from the window was a fantastic experience. The hotel facilities are also top-notch. The speed of hot water in the shower was instant, unlike many hotels where I had to wait a few seconds. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices, with both Chinese and Western dishes available, catering to all tastes. Overall, our stay was made even more memorable thanks to Koi's excellent service. There are many good hotels, but service with a personal touch is rare. We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip to Shanghai! I wish Koi all the best in her work and life!

Not a five stars standard hotel. But the check in staff is very friendly and attentive. Other than that all self service. Breakfast has plenty of choices, food is quite okay. Location of the hotel is opposite of a hospital, not really strategic but easy to book a ride or taxi. We chose this hotel for our last night stay because is nearer to Pudong airport. Probably won’t choose this hotel again next time.

Above my expectations. The service, the kindness and attention from the staff is what impressed me the most. Rooms are ok but a bit cold in terms of decorations. Location is good/bad based on your trip’s purpose, in my case was perfect but in general  the hotel is quite far from the city center.

Love my stay here in this hotel. The room is really nice, bed is very comfortable, bath tub beside the bed is really relaxing especially while watching TV. Ordered food in my room at dinner time. The food is indeed delicious. They also send different types of fruits on a platter at night which is such a wonderful and generous gesture. Would be great if they can have more choices for their breakfast buffet. Overall stay is amazing. I will come back for sure.

My stay was excellent. The service was professional, the staff were very attentive, and the facilities were modern and well-maintained. The amenities provided made my business trip smooth and comfortable. I truly appreciated the cleanliness and efficiency, and I would definitely recommend this place to other travelers.
