I recently stayed at a hotel in Shangrila, Yunnan, and had an overall pleasant experience. The cleanliness of the room and common areas was impressive — everything was well-maintained and tidy, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The location of the hotel was excellent. It was conveniently situated near key attractions, including the Old Town, and there were plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance. It made exploring Shangrila easy and enjoyable. The service stood out as one of the highlights. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with directions or local recommendations. They made check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. In terms of amenities, the hotel offered all the basics and more — from reliable Wi-Fi and comfortable bedding to a cozy lounge area and an on-site restaurant. Everything was thoughtfully provided for a comfortable stay. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shangrila. It’s a great choice for both convenience and comfort.

Room is spacious and we got upgraded for free. Everyday there's afternoon tea and supper. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

This young team of staff assisted to deal with our luggages from the main road due to road closure. Very responsive and reach out to us earlier so we could get the tour guide to drop us at a correct destination! Hotel is pretty and big! Breakfast was simple and good enough. Just to note, for those with elderly might wanna request for lower floor as there isn’t any lift access!

Very spacious and nice place. We got an upgrade to our room. Although there were some mishaps with the system. Everything was great and friendly. We got good breakfast and lunch as well as night warm milk to sooth the night. Love the service from everyone. Very thoughtful to help with the luggage. Especially also providing service to send us to the train station. Would recommend this place. It’s also near to Dukezong ancient town.

Very good stay despite that day the road in front of the hotel got closure, but all the staff were very helpful to carry many big luggages for all our family members from parking lot to the hotel.

The hotel offers an excellent stay with very helpful staff and clean rooms equipped with a heater, humidifier, and oxygen generator—great for comfort. The location is perfect, just a short walk from major tourist areas. They also provide free hot milk and fruit at night, which is a thoughtful touch. Additionally, the free pick-up and drop-off service from the railway station and airport adds great convenience for travelers. Highly recommended!
