for shangrila danaman: Enjoyed the location in Dukezong ancient city (it is close to the east gate), convenient for exploring restaurants, shops, and travel to railway station. The room was equipped with toiletries, amenities, floor heating, and a projector to enjoy movies. There is also a small balcony with a longue chair for you to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. (you can see 大佛寺 from the hotel, it is near 月光广场）Bed was spacious and comfortable. Staff was also friendly. A nice bonus for animal lovers is that the owners also have a dog that is friendly and will let you pet him, however do note that he is an avid foodie and will attempt to snack on pretty much anything.

Beautiful rooms with great views of the temples in the ancient city. Nice heating of the floors which kept us warm when it was cold inside. We used the washing machine once and also the dryer but the dryer didn’t work very well. We hired a driver for a few hours, recommended by the hotel and had a great time going around Napahai lake. Would definitely recommend.

Overall, it’s a decent stay. The hotel is very close to the ancient town, making it convenient for exploring. However, the room cleanliness could be improved for a better experience. Additionally, the bidet washlet doesn’t function as described—it only warms the seat but doesn’t actually provide a wash.

Room is big for a family of 4 for our stay and the location is close to the tourist spot with walking distance. Room are clean with heater even floor are warm when we check in at 5degC weather... overall are good and highly recommended.

Perfect in the room. Clean and with amazing view. The receptionist was very kind and help us.

The stay was located slighty further in the main street of the town. There was no street lamps on that street so it gets very dark during midnight or early mornings (not recommended if you are a female solo traveller). The room booked was extremely spacious with oxygen machine provided. But the cleanlines of the room could be better. There was a strong foul urine smell from the toilet bowl/drain despite flushing multiple times and with our own room spray. Had to hold our breath in order to use the toilet, luckily it was only a 2-night stay.
