Qingpuyu was a fantastic end to our month long holiday in China. Mr. Ku & his staff are wonderful hospitality hosts. The stay was recuperative after lots of walking & train commuting. Ku provided us transport upon arrival & departure. We consider him a friend.

Highly recommend!! Location is closed to the ancient city, surrounded by really good local food. Walking distance to Big Buddha Temple with the golden prayer wheel. The owners are extremely friendly, and bonus, you will be welcomed by a cute Samoyed doggie. All of us really enjoyed our stay here!

Fantastic hotel located in the ancient city. Room was very spacious and clean. Hot water for the shower was very good and everything you need is provided. Hotel owners were very friendly and welcoming, we even had tea and chit chat sessions with them on some days. There is also an adorable Samoyed puppy Tuan子to play with. Highly recommend this hotel when in Shangri-la!

Hotel offer pick up services from airport, so don’t have to drag my luggage across the bumpy roads! location is excellent in the ancient city, walkable distance from all the popular locations. Comfortable room, heated floor and toilet keep me warm. Cute dog named tuan zi and friendly owners. Def highly recommend!

This accommodation just opened in 2024, everything is new and clean, it was one of the best accommodation that we stayed this trip.
Host was really helpful throughout our stay there, he also has a really cute Samoyed puppy called Tangyuan who loves to play with the guest.
We felt so comfortable and well cared for during this trip, would wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to locals/foreigners looking to stay near the ancient town :)

I would give this hotel 100 stars. Good location & Clean room. Most important things are hospitality and services. We are foreigners with zero in Chinese and hotel staff is not English speaking. We can communicate each other with translation app. Hotel’s coffee is much better than some cafe. Sometime in the evening we drink tea brewed by hotel owner. Also, they have 2 friendly and lovely dogs here
One is Border collie
Another one is Samoyed puppy.
We had pleasant stay at this hotel and will definitely come back 😊

This is a new hotel with huge and clean rooms. Many useful amenities in the hotel with free fruits to take at the front desk and also espresso coffee on demand. The owners of the hotel were extremely friendly and will accommodate to your requests. There is also a super friendly puppy which will greet and play with you at the front desk. Short walk to the old town and best part is that there is direct car access so you don’t have to drag your luggage and risk spoiling your wheels unlike those accommodations in the heart of the old town where there are no car access and many up and down slopes on cobbled roads. Super highly recommend.
