Me and my mom had a lovely time here. The owners were really friendly and welcoming even tho they don't speak english and we don't speak chinese ( used translator app). The view from the room is great and the food was very tasty. They even gave us some fresh strawberries and mandarins. They also have a patio where you can relax after hiking with awesome views of the mounatins. The amenities are basic, but there is everything you need here ( even hot shower). Would definetly recommend this place 🤗

My stay at the hotel was average. I was aware that the toilet was shared when I booked, but personally, it made the stay less comfortable than I’d hoped. The room was okay and matched the description, but overall, the experience wasn’t very enjoyable for me. It might suit travelers who don’t mind shared facilities, but I’d prefer more privacy next time.

Very sweet people. We got upgraded and the view from our bedroom was OUTSTANDING. Good food too. All that for reasonable prices. We'd go again!

Really kind owners who were very helpful and accommodated our requests. The room was so lovely with great curtains and lighting and electric blankets - and a great view. Food was tasty and they gave us walnuts to crack. The bathroom is separate to the rooms but large and has heated lighting. They also gave toilet paper and water (but no towels). Such a great stay!

The landlady was responsive in her WeChat message. She even advised me on the weather when I had asked. The location is near Half-Way. The room was marvellous, but I was a bit disappointed that although I had arrived first, I was given the lower floor room. Another guest asked me to request change. I asked and she was easily agreeing for the change. Upper floor was cooler. Since that I got there first, I took the window bed. It was marvellous. I ordered fried rice for dinner and she was so nice to give me a bowl of free soup. The only part that I thought could be improved on was that the guesthouse needs to increase the number of bathrooms. There are only 2 for all to share. And when it rains, it is not convenient to go to the toilet. Perhaps a shelter should be provided. And the male bathroom's window should be covered. The silhouette could be seen when any guy takes a shower. Other than that, I find this place wonderful.

(我是法国人）I had an amazing stay in this hotel ! Really really recommended! This hotel is in the village but a bit on the side which makes it calm & quieter than other homestays. The room was perfect for me, there was a heated blanket, and the size of the bed was big. Also, there is a rooftop accessible to all & if you like you can by a beer (10yuan) with the owner. I was the only one on the rooftop, and then made friends with 2 other people. This was perfect for me because I don't like overcrowded places. In the morning, I got noodles for breakfast made by the owner and this was AMAZING! There is also a possibility to heat up your own food (I did this in the evening). Overall, I really recommend this place both for Chinese & foreigners because it is simply perfect, and the couple owning the place are nice & keep on smiling.

Near the always booked out halfway guesthouse, the location is great for a stop. Food is amazing and very fresh with a great view from the balcony. Cleanliness of the room is ok for a hiking stay but not really good. Also there’s only one toilet plus shower per gender for the entire inn.

Awesome Homestay at the halfway point of the 2D1N tiger leaping gorge trek. We got upgraded to a better room free of charge, greeted with a hot pot of tea and enjoyed two great meals from their family style cooking. Would recommend as an alternative to the bigger home stays of the village

Affordable price, nice and clean place. Free fruits from owner. Location is just next to Half Way hostel. Bathroom is outdoors, but well equipped with heated lights. No heater, but electric blanket woudl help. Overall, very good rating.
