Tina's Youth Hostel recensioner

Hotel was perfectly located and the staff were very helpful on WeChat. They helped arrange pickup from Lijiang to the start of the tiger leaping gorge hike and arranged a driver to take us to the airport after our hike. It was helpful to have our luggage dropped off at Tina's first so that we could hike with everything we needed in our backpacks for 3 days, having peace of mind that our luggage would be safely stored at the final destination. My own negative feedback is that the food was rather bad there, probably the worst out of the 3 guesthouses we stayed in the gorge.

Amazing room and services. Room has a great mountain view. Food is great! Booked this Accomodation last minute as the initial 4 star hotel opposite was disappointing. This place is a gem. Definitely worth more than 5 stars!

Fantastic views, right by the Tiger Leaping Gorge hiking path.

The room is clean, the hotel staff not so friendly. We are hiking to hotel, our luggage has been send here early by our rent car. Upon check in, they request us to have dinners first. We are telling them we are hiking since morning, we wish to have shower n short rest first before dinner. Therefore we need our luggage. The staff is not happy and telling us luggage is in their store and also telling us dinner time till 8pm but that time only 6pm, we believe we can come abouts 7pm for dinners. Else we also can have our dinner at nearest restaurant. Without willingness, they ask someone to get our luggage. This is a basic hotel. Basic till we cant get any rack our cabinets to hang our wet towels.In side the room, beside one long wall table n chair, they have nothing. They got a big bathroom, but is empty. no place to put or hang your clothes and towel. All washing stuffs like shampoo have to put on the floor🤣.

Everything you need is here. Bus ticket (to&from) Lijiang and shangri-la, luggage storage(pick-up after the trail). Bus station just down the road.

Good for TLG. Clean, westerners. Otherwise worse than other hostels in china. No amenities for shower

Great hotel with clean bedding, hot showers and hearty food- super grateful for it after a days hike!

The room is clean and comfortable. There are direct bus from/to Lijiang and Shang-ri la. You can arrange with Tina’s on the transportation and luggage storage if u intended to do the hiking.

Overall, the guesthouse is really good. Location wise- very near to the hiking trek route. Food wise- it was decent and very clean. Room wise- the room is very spacious and the amenities are fully equipped. Would book here again when I come soooooon! Recommended!

This accommodation was better than expected, certainly not basic. The communication was quite bad when trying to arrange the bus and TLG hike but it all worked out in the end. There is a lot of demand for this place so don't expect them to appreciate your business.

The owner upgraded the room for us for family. It is new and clean with great Mountain View’s

Had a very good stay at Tina's! We hiked the gorge in 2 days and Tina helped us beforehand with questions and logistics. Also arranged for our luggage to be brought there so we didn't have to take that with us! Very good food and reasonably prices. The views are amazing and the rooms are modern clean and big. Would stay again! Make sure to add Tina on wechat so you can get some information from her if you need to.

It was the end of May when the rainy season was just starting. When I walked for two days and arrived at Tina's G.H., I was surprised by the neat atmosphere, and the five-person room I was assigned to was like any other hotel. Spending a night looking out the window at snow mountains!

Friendly staff with good (enough) English knowledge. It was easy to find (after the hike) and immediately accessible. Staff was attentive and helpful with booking transportation arrangements; in fact, that was very smooth. Furthermore, the lighting and space in the room were very nice. Would stay again.
