Amazing relaxed stay in Haba Village, in the shadow of the Haba Snow Mountain! The home cooked food was delicious, and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Their fresh mandarins were tasty too. Next time we wish we could spend more time, so that we could summit the mountain. Only issue was the bathroom has a funny smell, but this did not detract from our enjoyment.

Everything was perfect, the family made my three nights in Haba very special. I loved the room, linen and pillows very vers comfortable. I was welcomed very warmly, immediately was invited to dinner with the whole family and received Tea. The food from the daughter in law was some of the best I have eaten in China. I got a tasty breakfast as well.
Now the main part for coming to Haba Village is hiking up Haba snow mountain, the host helped me organizing everything, Guide up, Guide Down, Guide to Summit, Clothing, Equipment even transport back to Lijiang.
All in all both the homestay and the Haba Snow Mountain are some of the most beautiful and coolest things I have ever done, thank you!

Lovely place in the middle of the village. The courtyard is very nice, with lots of greenery. The rooms are comfortable, with big beds, thick blankets and a heating mattress if need be. The boss and his wife are very friendly and helpful and can provide information on hiking. Highly recommended!

The owners are so nice and friendly. They told us everything we needed to know about climbing Haba and other beautiful hikes in the area. They also provided great food and rooms.
They even helped to send my phone all the way back to Lijiang by post after I had left it in their vehicle 😅. Amazing people.

Amazing hotel! My girlfriend, brother and I arrived from Tiger leaping gorge quite tired and felt immediately very relaxed. The hotel is beautiful with its full wood architecture and it's fruit trees. The first thing we did was picking delicious apples from the trees. The owners are extremely kind and professional, they guided us on the whole process of preparing for Haba mountain hike. Extremely reliable service. On top of that the food cooked with products from their garden was delicious while being resonnably priced.
We highly recommend this hotel and next time will stay with them again. They are also great contacts to plan trips in the region.

Accept foreigner, run by local friendly Chinese Muslim, who owns Guesthouse at haba base camp, camp site, mountain guide. Able to provide competitive, professional 1 to 1 Trekking to haba summit. Reliable, highly recommended. The hosts are hospitality, provided valuable, excellent services, contact them for direct lijiang transfer as public transport is not available.

Haba is just an amazing place for hiking. I initially booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for a week. At the 云上 guest house I felt just like home. Family environment, great food, eating meals together, all the information I needed, help to book transport... It also has a perfect location since it's very close to where the main trails begin. And if needed, they have all the guiding services to climb all the way up to the Haba snow peak. Great experience and I'm looking forward to go back!
