Channel View Hotel

The staff at the Channel View Hotel were excellent and they couldn't do enough for you. We were supposed to have a twin room but we're given a double but the manageress quickly sorted that. Heating was off but we were issued with a heater. I can recommend this hotel for people with no mobility problems. Unfortunately many of our coach had sticks or walker's, there was a disabled access but it meant navigating a steep slope. All the corridors had steps and doors which for the disabled caused problems. I do feel that all customers should be aware that this hotel has these issues. I only want to add that the food and entertainment were excellent. Such a shame about access. People without mobility problems would love it.

We stayed for 1 night . Room 37 looking over the channel . Beautiful view . Lovely decoration . Clean , good size bathroom , smart TV , lots of storage . The hotel is beautiful, nice seats outside that you can grab some sun! Pool was nice , clean , warm and nice to have in the hotel . Breakfast was really nice , cooked to order . Staff were really friendly, helpful . ****Reason for 4 stars not 5 … The Bed Mattress wasn’t the best , could do with being replaced . As the room is at the top of the stairs , it was very noisy with people going back to their rooms . Overall we would recommend this hotel and would love to come back .
