Firstly, the location of the hotel is mid-way between the HSR station, which still takes about 15 min on the road. It was a little misleading when booking the hotel as I thought it was next to MixC. Guess it pays to read more carefully next time. The hotel is brand new with a restaurant only. The room is wonderfully clean, with comfortable linen, pillows and a high pressure hot shower. There are no bar/ cafe services as most of the guests either head out early and return late after enjoyed their dinner in the local restaurants. What was unpleasant was there was a man who made a huge commotion out of the room type he had booked. He spoke very loudly and was uncouth in his mannerism. The hotel staff could have had brought him to a quieter corner to resolve the dispute. Hence the service of the frontdesk may need more training to handle such unpleasant guests check-ins. When I asked for recommendations to nearby eateries, no one gave me any suggestions except to head to the famous food street. Lucky thing for Dianping and a friend who was local who could help me search for a breakfast place that was within walking distance. Lastly, with such new facilities, the greatest area for improvement would be investment in staff training. That would raise the overall impression and experience at the hotel stay. :)
