Holiday Inn Shaoguan Downtown recensioner

Hotel industry is supposed to be called hospitality industry but I was shocked to know the way they treat their customers it was a total waste of time and money. Many Chinese brands of hotels are much better than Holiday Inn. Very bad attitude toward customers request. If anyone is looking for inviting trouble should book holiday inn this is exactly what they are. In short problem with food, problem with room service, problem with room cleaning and many more can go on and on. So my suggestion is better avoid Holiday Inn I made a mistake thinking it’s an international Band of hotels but it Isn’t not worth 2 star also which they clam to be 4 star.

Excellent service. Kudos to LAM of Front Des for being so polite and kind, same with Fiona and Tina. also, thankful to Jack of Holiday Inn Restaurant breakfast buffet staff for being so helpful each time.

I am an IHG member and Holiday Inn is my go-to hotel. However, during this stay recently, I was disappointed with the way housekeeping cleaned the room. They did not clean thoroughly. The used cups were left unwashed. The sheets were itchy. The bathroom amenities were not even washed and disarranged. It was so obvious that the housekeeping was in a hurry so they just did a magic clean up which led to this unsatisfactory review. I hope the management of Holiday Inn Shaoguan will make the necessary action to stop this kind of room cleaning and do better. The room smelled damped. I am very disappointed.

Excellent location in Shaoguan. Next to the largest and newest mall. Hotel is new with an impressive arrival area. Breakfast. Good spread with good dim sum. They varied some the dishes ao that longer staying guests would have variety. Staff were pleasant and helpful in the dining hall Rooms. Nicely designed and quiet. Sheets are of great quality. Safe in room. Slippers provides. Conditioner for hair. Pillows were labeled and 2 firm ones and 2 soft ones provided. The only thing I can complain about is the headboard for the beds. It was visibly dirty. Amenities: indoor pool which we did not use. Gym with 3 treadmills and 1 elliptical and woke weights machines. Not bad overall but there was no water provided. Staff at reception: the older lady who served us when we checked in was excellent. She suggested places for us to go and was very enthusiastic about guiding us on top of sorting our check in details. The young male staff who attended to us when we checked out was unbelievably unhelpful and uninterested when we asked about a particular attraction. His answer was just no and don't know. Did not bother to help check with colleagues or make calls. This marred an otherwise good experience at Holiday inn. Conclusion Excellent hotel for the price point

The location is excellent, opposite to a big shopping mall. Will definitely come back next time!

A beautifull position right next to a Shopping Plaza ,with a Starbucks ,KFC and Macdonalds.Warm water indoor swimming pool at 28 degrees ,and a Gym and a Sauna ! Excellent Breakfast , eggs,bacon,butter,toast and salmon & cheese.Filter coffee,cappachino and Espresso ! Friendly and helpfull staff and Hotel Manager ! Highly Recommended.

Great stay here. We liked it so much after travelling in China during the Spring festival, we stayed an extra night . -quiet in the rooms -comfortable beds -high quality linens and towels -fast Internet -a 15 minutes car ride to both train stations -surprise fruit gift on forst day (image) - great servive from all staff, from front desk to room cleaner. Xiao Ming i cafe went to extra effort and was super helpful and thoughtful. -delicious breakfast with good coffee, french bread and yum dim sum. All in all we enjoyed some down time here and had a fantastic stay.

Well, what do you expect of Holiday inn ? Exactly same standard wherever you go, here they do deliver it. Comfy bed, excellent pillow selection, all things works in the room, nice furniture and good lighting. Front staff very attentive and nice. Internet runs smoothly. Plus? Tvb Pearl (HK channel in English ) . Check in and check out seamless. You pay the price and it's worth every penny.

去完南華寺到市區住，市區沒有特別好的酒店，這家算是價格合理，就是有點年份，差不多該返新了，對面有個很大的超商，什麼都有。另外4點多還沒有房🤗確實有改善空間。

訂房之前我已經告知前台是親子房，高樓層，不要頭尾房，我還致電兩次，結果我去前台辦理的時候尾房，4樓，也不知道怎麼説好，然而後來前台幫我説升級到13樓，結果的親子房就是衞生間多一個小朋友蹲坑的樓梯，和一個洗澡桶，感覺好坑啊，不過值得表揚的是早餐用餐的時候，餐廳的穿西裝的哥哥們還是熱情，微笑服務很棒，讓人心情也是很愉悦，
