Sharm Cliff Resort

Booked 7 days all inclusive stay via loveholidays. Hotel had 4.5 stars on that app. What a shocker on the arrival. Dirty dirty bathroom! No soap, nor shampoo. When asked for some I received 4 sachets for 2 people so had to purchase our own. Shower curtain was so dirty it was stiff. Room itself very dated. There was a tv, but signal was so rubbish there was no way to watch anything on it. Watered down drinks at the bar. Even though we paid for all inclusive beer, wine and coffee was not included. Sun beds, very dated, varnish peeling off, wood splits with huge splinters sticking out. Pool towels… had to queue for it for good 30min as there was not enough towels. Food canteen, smelly. Food majority of the time was cold, Oily fried balls of something. Red and white cabbage (not even lettuce), however one day they served lettuce. Cucumber. Cottage cheese and local sausage. Breakfast lunch and dinner. Omelet was served 2 times in our 7 days stay. Some grilled meat served for dinner, but then heard people arguing and asking for more meat (as it was limited) Paid under £300 per person flight included. I didn’t expect much for that money, but they still managed to surprise me.

Oh my… I think everyone below summarised the standards and conditions of this place. I can only say that I paid silly money for one week all inclusive (outside of the season) and mostly I’ve been out and about. Dirty, filthy, smelly, just terrible. The only one thing I can say good about them is that staff, cleaners, were really nice. That’s it.

Food disgusting always cold half the time no cutlery no plates English not catered for. Ran out of coffee 0810 in the morning ran out of alcohol 2100 told bar finished only beer available at a cost 150 Egyptian pounds Only pool bar open on a night.wi fi hit and miss and only in reception pool table no pockets to catch balls no tips on cues.Filtjy lack of maintenance got a decent room after moving 3 times. I could go on and on but I'll add some pictures bit different to ones shown on hotel site...

This hotel is rented out. The current manager ignores all complaints, in fact when i stayed he told 1 couple to go to another hotel It is def not for English( western) visitors Only the Russians and Germans are catered for, hence food is terrible 1 block was full of cockroaches and toilet rolls are scarce All Inclusive is false. No Beer and only a very limited x4 of local drinks ( not good) is available

Great place with its own charm. All staff are working hard and have to deal with the usual plethora of rude guests from around the world. But if you look after them - they look after you. Great value for money and very hearty and plenty of food. Regular trips to the beach and the evening entertainment is good when theres a crowd. Met some fantastic people there - both staff and solo travellers. Great value for an off season holiday when you want to relax. Definately coming again.

Having ☆☆☆ by this hotel and even calling it a hotel must be a joke. 1. Bed - decorated nicely with flower patels presented itself nicely, 120cm width quite firm. 6/10 if same effort was put jnto cleaning it would be much nicer experience 2. Pillows are quite hard and heavy ones -5/10 3. Silence - so so while not loud until evening when pool party is on (then you can forget about sleeping) - 6/10 4. Bedlinen some marks while smelled ok, no blanket only another thin single sheet- 5/10 5. Courtains - sunblocking ok while old a bit worn out and dirty and looking almost falling from the construction. 4/10. 6. Restaurant - awful looking and dirty all over from floor to walls. Main restaurant looks like a cantine which was not cleaned for last 2 years all is dirty including glasses dispensers of utensils, tables and floors. Only plus for a balcony dissapears when you sit at the table which were made to make you sit in an ackward position. In the morning on the floor you can see marks which indicate nobody washed it in months. Could not get simple butter -2/10. 7. Drinks - cant say as I could not see much except usual 1 watermelon "juice" which was not a juice at all, to be self served in a plastic cup or dirty glass - 3/10 8. Tea / coffee - again no choice 1 type of tea and instant coffee (from the jar no name) . All served on dirty tables very old water dispenser - 3/10 9. Breakfast - no selection of bread, buns, cheese or meat at 9.20 (breakfast served till 10), very little of food to choose from. Scrammbled eggs or omlette prepared by a cook on a cooker which obviously was not cleaned for days - 3/10. 10. Room condition - old dirty furniture, quiet freezer with rust and loose cables, no ventilation fan just very old air conditioning which was not working and hard to setup due to old and broken steering panel. Also old and broken device to close balcony. Ceiling with great marks of flood and broken with pieces falling down - 2/10 11. Bathroom - another survival test , warm water only in the morning, faucet opened in full make water run so slow that you could see single drops. Wall tiles covered in fungus, awfully filthy not cleaned in years. Electrical wires hanging freely. I found 1 small towel 30x60 which was not too clean , service took it in the morning and promised to bring new one but left me waiting 20min and had to leave, so could not use it. everything in this bathroom has not seen any cleaning in ages. Marks and stains on everything from bathtube, mirror, faucet, tiles - 1/10. 12. Facilities pool etc - cant say much as saw few people using pool which did not seem too modern, quite small and rather shallow, while it had division for kids I would not allow my kids to get inside it. sunbeds not only need renovation but just throwing them to garbage. Broken and discoloured covers. When asked for a towel I was told I need to wait 20 minutes and come back. There seems to be a slide but again seeing all other things I
