InterContinental Shenzhen WECC recensioner

I stayed at the Intercontinental Shenzhen WECC July 2025. The hotel is new, and the room was very well-appointed with a particularly thoughtful layout featuring separate toilet and bathroom areas, just like the one at Doungguan. I stayed in an executive room, but unfortunately, as I open the bathroom door, a sizable marble slab fell off, though I was luckily not hurt. I returned to the executive lounge to request a room change and the manager was very apologetic and quickly arranged another room with an upgrade. The manager also offered fruit platters for our rooms and a late checkout as a gesture of goodwill. I wasn't really dying for fruit platters in the rooms since I could have as many as I wanted in the executive lounge but sadly that turned out to be an empty promise. The rooms could also use better soundproofing, as I could clearly hear noise from the neighboring rooms' ACTIONS at night. The executive lounge itself is spacious and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The happy hour hot foods were a bit lousy ( according to this hotel grade ) with limited wine options, though the sandwiches and desserts were excellent. Breakfast was impressive with a wide variety of delicious choices. The gym and swimming pool felt a bit crowded. Overall, my stay was okay, with good service but a few issues that could be improved.

I had such a great experience staying at the InterContinental. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and everything felt new and well-maintained. The service was exceptional—every single staff member I met was genuinely friendly, helpful, and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. I also really enjoyed the gym—they offer different fitness classes, which is a nice touch. The indoor swimming pool is a great bonus, especially since you don’t have to worry about the sun, and there’s also a sauna for relaxing after a workout or swim. One thing that really stood out to me was how comfortable the bed and pillows were—I slept so well every night. It’s rare to find a hotel where you feel this relaxed and taken care of. Overall, everything about my stay was enjoyable and fun. The service truly made the whole experience unforgettable. I’d definitely love to come back again!

Lovely place to visit. Not all staff were very friendly this would need improvement. Check-in times and actually can stay was delayed by one hour. Stressful time for young kids as most places were full, not enough seating and no place to rest even on the 19/F. But after check in everything was amazing! Remember to bring a swimming cap if you go swimming or else you may buy it at the counter!

A great hotel. Great room, very clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Also experienced the dinner buffet and the breakfast buffet. Both good and the staff were very helpful.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in the hotel. The luxurious rooms, impeccable service and attention to detail were all memorable. The staff was welcoming and professional and went above and beyond. The food was exquisite and the facilities were first class. Highly recommended for a perfect vacation!

Very close to the exhibition centre. The food is great too. Hygienic environment lovely breakfast buffet with lots of options. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

InterContinental Shenzhen WECC is a great place to stay. The room was nice, clean and new as it was just opened in 2023. The hotel also provides a free short ride to nearby place. We had a wonderful time staying here!
