The location of the hotel is good and it's close to the metro station (within 5 minutes walking distance). Room is clean and tidy, check-in time is very short. You can find many restaurants at nearby area.

Very clean, nice, and comfortable hotel with reasonable prices, also, the staff are very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed my staying.

Funky smell in the hallway as well as the room, other than that is okay. Not for fussy/long stays

The room smelled of something bad, possibly mold or dust. The toilet was really small and the shower wasn’t closed so we got water on all of the towels every time and the floor was always wet. The stuff didn’t speak english but tried to be very helpful! We needed a fridge and they put our food in the fridge in the reception. All in all nice, but what’s up with the smell?

The location is close to convenience stores, restaurants, street food, metro station, and fruit stores.

A good hotel that gives you value for money. The cleanliness level could improve a bit since there are a lot of dust in some areas of the room. I usually stay here during weekend trips to Shenzhen/Luohu.

Unfortunately staff did not speak English. Room was small, but we booked that one on purpose. We thought we booked near the station, which was our own mistake; we should have been at the North station. There was smoking inside of the hotel. This in combination with the room not having a window was a bit uncomfortable. Staff were polite and helpful.

I'm very satisfied with my experience at citylight hotel. It's a three star hotel with comfortable double rooms. I arrived very early in the morning and the staff despite not speaking English did their best to help me. I eventually checked in at 9am which is 5 hours before the scheduled time. The location is fantastic there are many stores/restaurants around there and it's walking distance from the famous dongmen district. There a couple of metro stations less than 10 minutes away by walk. The area looks safe and it's easy to reach HK from there.

Best for solo traveler as their small budget friendly room is quite good with all amenities and services found some mobile signal issues yes but other then thats good

I changed to the bigger room for 2 days after staying in a smaller room 2 days before in the same hotel. The bigger room was very clean, spacious and great value for money. The hotel is located right in the city, with a great city life around it, massive hotels and great malls all within walking distance. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

Great value for money for a short stay. Prime position with shops, restaurants all around. Massage sauna next door. Only one warning- WiFi connection is very weak and breaking down frequently- if you need speedy WiFi this place is no good. Nice staff and great support on any requests.
