This Hotel is modern and clean situated right in the heart of the Electronic market. The staff here is very good specially Mr Jonathan who was very polite and super helpful who arranged a cab for us to travel between Shenzhen and HKIA. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

Family friendly, good location and nice views, the customer service lady Beta is very helpful and professional, fulfilled all our requests! Very happy. Will stay again in this hotel!

Stayed for 4Ns and Ms Beta handled our check-in. She’s superb and friendly. Big comfy bed. Location of hotel is great with electronics shopping sprees. Lotsa Food choices too. Will be back here again.

The hotel has a very central location next to the big tech market and Metro station. While the rooms are clean and the bed was nice, the bathroom could need a renovation. There was a large selection of western and Chinese dishes for breakfast. The complimentary afternoon tea buffet and the late night (9-11pm) noodles were delicious. The English speaking staff was extremely nice and helpful. We would come back.

Excellent location, confortable and large rooms. Amazing view from elevation and rooms. Staff always happy to help. No bar inside hotel, but a lot in the street downstairs. Special greetings to Dave at the front desk: he helped me to arrange my car to HongKong in a very efficient and professional way. 👍👍👍

I have stayed at this hotel for 6th time, all amazing as usually. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, tasty evening noodle soup:) Don't forget to go to central park, it's only 10 minutes walk from the hotel

Unbeatable Location but in Desperate Need of Renovation The Shenzhen Huaqiang Plaza Hotel offers a mixed bag of experiences. While it has one major advantage that overshadows its shortcomings, there are several areas where improvements are desperately needed. Pros: Location: The hotel is situated in the best location any visitor to Shenzhen could hope for. Huaqiangbei Metro Station is right at its doorstep, and the area is vibrant, filled with shops, restaurants, and everything a traveller might need. It’s truly the hotel’s standout feature. Extra Refreshments: One of the hotel’s more unique and appreciated offerings is the complimentary tea and cake in the early afternoon and a substantial snack selection in the late evening. These extras add a touch of hospitality that we enjoyed. Elevator Views: While the elevator system is far from efficient, the outside views from the elevators are refreshing and a pleasant distraction during the long waits. Cons: Tired and Rundown: The hotel shows its age in every corner. From worn-out fixtures to outdated furnishings, it’s clear that the property is long overdue for refurbishment. Even basic amenities like WiFi were unreliable to the point where we gave up trying to use it. Elevator Issues: The limited number of elevators is a significant drawback, especially as the hotel starts on the 23rd floor. Waiting for an elevator is a frustrating experience as they are often full, going the wrong direction, or repeatedly stopping at multiple floors. Bathroom Amenities: The bathroom setup is another area where the hotel falls short. Only solid soap bars are provided—an outdated choice when most modern hotels offer liquid soap or other amenities. This detail highlights how the hotel has neglected to update its offerings. Overall Experience: Despite its shortcomings, the unbeatable location of the Shenzhen Huaqiang Plaza Hotel is enough to bring me back. The convenience of being in the heart of Shenzhen’s bustling Huaqiangbei district outweighs the frustrations, though I sincerely hope the management considers renovating the property soon. With some upgrades, this hotel could easily become a top choice for travellers.

Fully satisfied with the stay. Front desk manager Alina Tan and Daphne Du provided excellent service throughout the entire stay. The hotel provided washing machine and dryer and free detergent as well. Great!

I had a nice stay in this hotel that is effectively run. The staff is friendly and helpful. Room clean and tidy. Very quiet at night. Very good soundproof. Just above metro line and supermarket. .

Our stay at Huaqiang Plaza Hotel was outstanding! Front Office Manager Jonathan Yang and Daphne Du went above and beyond, recommending excellent dim sum restaurants at Zi Yue Li and Fan Lou. They arranged an 8-seater limo shuttle for our family of seven, making our journey from Shenzhen to Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong effortless. During our 40-minute wait for our limo shuttle to arrive, Daphne kindly offered our family a complimentary afternoon tea, which was a delightful treat. The service was exceptional, and the rooms were very comfortable. The hotel's location offers easy access to shopping malls, MTR, and various amenities. We highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay!

Fantastic service especially from front desk 郭龄曼 who answered my questions on WeChat promptly and staff 静静who helped me keep my washed laundry. Breakfast and supper so-so but my kids are happy with the comfort food. Room was good. Will visit again!

I had a truly disappointing experience at the Shenzhen Huaqiang Plaza Hotel. To start, the carpet was filthy and far from meeting the standards advertised on Trip.com. I have photos that clearly show the dirt and stains. It was evident that the room had not been cleaned properly. The bed was even worse — it reeked of the previous guest. It was disgusting to discover that the mattress, sheets, and pillows had not been replaced. This level of hygiene is unacceptable and leaves a terrible impression. To make matters worse, the water pressure in the bathroom was extremely weak, making it impossible to enjoy a hot shower after a long, exhausting day. This basic amenity was clearly not up to par. While the hotel staff were professional and accommodating, unfortunately, their efforts could not make up for the terrible state of the room. A clean environment is fundamental to any hotel experience, and this was a major failure. This was a revolting experience. My schedule is very busy, and I do not have the time or patience to deal with such poor standards. There are plenty of other hotels in the area, and I am confident that even the lowest-rated ones would offer cleaner rooms and better facilities than what I encountered at the Shenzhen Huaqiang Plaza Hotel.
