Rooms are extremely clean. Staff are friendly. Wide spread for breakfast. Nothing to complain about given the price paid.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a family to explore the nearby area. The hotel is a bit far from the train station, so it’s more convenient to either explore places आसपास or call a car, which is quite easy to do. The entrance is relatively narrow, and the front desk and lobby are on the smaller side with limited space. The hotel itself is not very large, with only about 3 floors and a limited number of rooms. There was a slight cigarette smell at times, but it wasn’t too strong. Overall, the stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights is the surrounding neighborhood—you can really experience the local lifestyle, with plenty of food options and small local shops nearby, which we really liked. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. There’s also a service robot, which was a fun and modern touch. We appreciated the laundry area, although it can get quite busy on some days, leading to long waiting times. It would be even better if there were a queue system or time reservation to manage usage. There is a fitness room, but it’s quite small. The most impressive part of our stay was definitely the breakfast—everyone loved it. The food was delicious and offered a good variety. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a convenient place to stay while exploring the nearby area, even though it’s not ideal for direct access to public transport.

We had a really great stay at Mercure Shenzhen Nanshan Shenzhen Bay. Check-in was quick and smooth. No waiting and no complications. The front desk staff were polite, professional, and very welcoming. It immediately gave us a good first impression. The room was very clean and nicely designed. Modern style, comfortable bed, good lighting, and everything felt fresh. The bathroom was spotless with strong water pressure, and the overall space felt calm and relaxing. Most importantly, it was extremely quiet. Even though the hotel is in a convenient location, once you close the door it becomes very peaceful. We really value that when traveling. We often book Mercure whenever we travel around China, and one of the main reasons is consistency. No matter which city we visit, we already know what to expect. Clean rooms, professional service, comfortable stay, and a quiet environment. That reliability makes traveling much easier and stress free. One small detail we always appreciate is the complimentary fruit platter. It is simple but thoughtful and welcoming. It is something we genuinely look forward to when staying with this brand. Breakfast is also worth mentioning. We definitely recommend adding it to your booking. There are plenty of choices, and whether you follow a specific diet or just want something light and healthy, you will find good options. Fresh vegetables, eggs, fruit, hot dishes, and more. The variety is very good and everything tasted fresh. Overall, this is a hotel we would happily return to. Great for couples, very clean, very quiet, and dependable service. Highly recommended.

We booked this hotel for one night during Spring Festival, so naturally the price was a little expensive. But because of the Mercure brand, I still had a good expectation. Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet our expectation. The public areas of the hotel are a bit shabby/outdated. The carpets in the hallways are old/stained/damaged in some places and the hallways are very dark. The rooms are clean but the decor is average. The breakfast options were good, with some Chinese style choices, freshly made noodles and eggs, and some breads, cereals, and fruit. The staff was nice. 👍

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back on a future visit to Shenzhen. The room was perfect for my needs and the amenities were great. I really appreciated the Japanese style toilet! I have two small suggestions. The first would be to provide bath robes in rooms, although I know they are not obliged to do this. The second suggestion would be to include a few smaller tables in the dining area for solo travellers and couples. These are very minor suggestions, though. I would most certainly recommend staying at this hotel.
