My family had an amazing time! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful surroundings and the traditional decor. The courtyard house was very clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But most importantly, lady host was very helpful, warm and made us feel so welcome! Water pressure is strong and the beds are very comfortable. Pictures didnt do justice to the real deal... simply stunning! The outdoor area was a highlight, peaceful surroundings, beautiful mini gardens and cool area even when you sit in the living room where we could relax and enjoy the nature. The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The location was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to local attractions and amenities. We had a lot of fun exploring the area, but it will always be a treat to come back to such a lovely place. Overall, this ancient courtyard house exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable getaway with family and friends. We can't wait to return. Thank you for having us. Excellent location, the hotel is within the Dapeng Ancient City, Many cafe and restaurant inside the the fortress as well that you can enjoy. The room is clean with own bathroom. Host is hospitable.

I stay here every time I come to Dapeng, one of my favorite parts of visiting the fortress

She charges the least in the area, but most of the time the house is just empty. Often I was the only guest and she also went back to sleep in her own home. Last time I stayed there she brought some "long term" customers to stay there. They were going in and out of the kitchen and sitting in the little cafe outside eating fruit, which was beside my room and drinking until over 3am. I was the only other guest and a woman, but I had to go out of the room at 3 and asked them what was going on. That's when they knew there was another guest there. She obviously didn't tell them and next day acted like it was nothing. I would not suggest this guest house as the guesthouse manager does not care about people's sleep and obviously doesn't care about rating. The day before she was playing music loudly in the cafe the whole day and she watches her C-drama on loud the whole day as well. She tells people to go out in the scorching heat to the beach so she can sit alone and enjoy her dramas. Basically there is not enough room for people to stay in this small house without having to stay out most of the time if they didn't want to.

Yet another great stay at a family based hotel

This place was fantastic ! It was clean, great location in the old town and very quiet ! It's not close the Shenzhen city but if you want to visit coastal areas of Shenzhen and have a more relaxed time, Dapeng is the best place to be ! I only planned to stay here for 2 days then ended up extending 5 days, I like the atmosphere, classical cozy Chinese home with great tea. The host is great and is truly passionate about the place + Chinese traditional culture.

Beautiful guesthouse in the ancient city. Shared bathrooms were spotless. Room stayed really cool so didn't need to use the air conditioner too much.

老屋，沒有異味，就是木質的隔板，隔音會差，晚上外面的人走過或者説話都能聽到，性價比很高，就在古城裡麪，住裏面還可以逛晚上的古鎮，到較場尾步行10分鐘，在馬路對面。第二天還早起坐船看了日出，就是海邊白天人很多。晚上也是在這裏吃的，很好吃，價格也很實惠，環境好。

朋友推薦的，跟老闆娘真的是緣分相遇，居然跟我同事是遠遠遠遠親。出行計劃當時沒告訴我同事，她説她小時候來過。再來一次跟做夢一樣。 老闆娘人特別好，還提醒我身份證背面不要給她。這不是信任問題，是安全問題。還推薦我們去玩哪裡。推薦的吃的，玩的，也沒有踩雷。 圖片vivo手拍，全原圖。我跟其中一個同事住的西廂閣也在上面了。不過隔音不好，老房子見諒，老闆娘也會提醒每位住客要儘量安靜，不要吵到別人，相互理解相互包容。

這家民宿非常值得體驗，下次我要入住東廂或西廂房。另外民宿有獨特的小花園可以喝下午茶，曬曬太陽，打打瞌睡，安逸到翻白眼。還有可以點餐，老闆娘親自下廚（鐵鍋雞好好吃）香到把貓咪（咪咪）都吸引過來啦

設計很美，古香古色，位置方便，可以海邊看日出，老闆人也nice。

老宅子能維護成這樣子實屬不易。房間簡單但整潔，老闆一家人都在忙活，清洗做飯都是自己親力親為，有種家的温馨感。
