Hotel Polo Towers Shillong

Very nice hotel , excellent location , very comfortable in every aspect , lovely welcome with a welcome drink , decent quickness in handling check in with a welcome drink. The room is clean and well stacked. The dining staff was good , so was the food service. The hotel needs renovation and one could experience it in some places , The markets are nearby , traffic is well oiled and disciplined . A lot of improvements are needed as the hotel is ageing and I am sure they will be addressed on time . There was a lot of noise . Overall a good hotel

Hotel at prime location. It was a great stay, very pleasant, good ambience, the food was good, staffs are helpful, prompt, specially Meda for kind and courteous. However parking facilities could have been better with more space and roofing.

My overall stay was very good but some things I would personally like to mention. it would be better if floor maat or bathroom slippers were provided during our stay during our stay at night there was lots of disturbance my baby couldn't sleep somehow I tried to keep the other guests quiet as our baby was frequently getting up . Would like to mention the staff especially thanks to meda for her professionalism in her department. Thanks for the prompt service given Other staff were also professional I don't know their names keep up the good work team Food 10/10 Room 09 / 10 Bar 10/10 Breakfast 10/10

Excellent hospitality. Buffet breakfast was very good. Dinner is very delicious. Ms. Bala was very helpful and provided excellent service.Room service was good. Front line staff is cooperative.would like to recommend other to choose this property

Excellent service overall of hotel including the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping (Mr. Suvojit). Had a great stay will surely love to stay whenever I visit Shillong and just to tell about the food they have various varieties and good options for both veg and non veg.

Polo towers has the advantage of being bang at the center of the city, next to the shopping mecca of Police bazar- by walk 5 minutes, by car -eternal. Rooms are well appointed if not lavish. When we visited in Oct 24, some construction was on so some portions of the hotel were inaccessible. positively well groomed courteous staff. Ginger restaurant offers multi cuisine options and food is delectable, service fast and prompt. Same place doubles for breakfast and for the size of the hotel this space appears too congested as, in view of the travel plans, most guests rush in between 7 to 8 pm often crowding the place. Breakfast option has limited but tasty spread. The Idli, Sambhar and unadulterated coconut chutney can put to shame many hotels down south, though coconut is very expensive in shillong, the hotel doesnot compromise on quality. One side of the hotel skirts the access the Police bazar and is bit noisy, especially if you get rooms in lower floor, If possible take the front facing rooms. being in center and congested part of the city, there are no great views from any rooms, but location-wise, it offers VFM. Being tourist infested, tariffs in Shillong are quite steep.
