Hotel Centre Point

Room & Gym are very clean also hotel staff was very supportive. The morning breakfast quality of food was awesome. Good experience. Airport FACILITY received is nice. I recommend it. It was a very good experience of my stay in hotel centre point. The location, rooms and services are excellent. My entire family also relished the food.

great place to stay. centrally located, main market is walkable. rooms are airy and well lit. galleria restaurant serves awesome cuisine. staff is very courteous. front desk manager raven was extremely helpful. cloud 9 lounge is the icing on the cake…great environs. very popular among locals…frequent visitors. overall an excellent experience.

IT'S A SCAM HOTEL, AVOID !! I booked a special category room which is a suite but they gave me the lowest category that too in the adjoining hotel which they have misrepresented as center point. No explanation given just that they don't have any other rooms available!! I asked for a refund or cancellation but was met with blank stares from the horrible reception guy and the general manager. Don't think they were able to understand English properly. The room was filthy, no ventilation, washrooms were messy and not cleaned before, bed hard and unclean. And to top it all- the AC didn't work for my entire stay and this is a health hazard as there's no ventilation. I was so suffocated that I left early just for some air!! AVOID UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED OF 8K INR FOR ONE STAR FACILITIES AND SERVICE

We went for dinner to their roof top restaurant. Right from the gate keeper to the waiter , there was a snobbish attitude ( for all this there was no crowd too). We had to literally call them each time for the menu card, walk to desk and call again to take order . Strange ! To top it all the pork satay was hard . The pad Thai noodles was not authentic. A total disappointment.

I have been staying at the Center Point Hotel in Shillong for the past three days and would like to provide some feedback on my experience. While the hotel itself is impressive, and the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, I have encountered significant issues with the Food and Beverage staff. Unfortunately, the F&B staff have been consistently unresponsive and often ignore requests. This has been the case during both breakfast and dinner services. Whenever I ask for something, their initial response is almost always a flat "no," without any attempt to accommodate or explain. I believe that attentive and courteous service is a critical component of a pleasant stay, and this has sadly been lacking.

Recently stayed at The Centre Point for four days in May 2024. Location wise the property is right in the middle of Police Bazar which is the biggest market in Shillong city; which gives you n number of options to eat, shop, and explore. The rooms have a classic heritage ambience and are spacious. The hospitality staff is very responsive and quick, special mentions to Virendra and Liza from the in-house dining staff, both are very warm, kind and welcoming. Had a great time overall
