Mercure Sibiu Arsenal

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel in Sibiu! The location is perfect—right next to a beautiful park, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel itself is spotless, with impeccable cleanliness in both the rooms and common areas. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. I truly appreciated their warm hospitality. The indoor pool was a fantastic bonus, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. The on-site restaurant exceeded my expectations, serving delicious food with a great variety of dishes. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sibiu. I will definitely be returning!

Unprofessional personnel totally lacking the proper training and education..... Rooms without all the amenities.... Lack of a manager or in-charge person în a peak period of tourism! Indoor pool în deplorable conditions, smelly and without any supervision kind of supervision respecting the respect of the rules.... Waiting more than one hour to get some water from the bar!

Relatively new hotel that has not yet found a way to function smoothly. Reception staff were some really great and some rather bored. I had received an email to check in online, but this did not work. In the hotel I was told that it never works. Then why send the email? I did invest time. The booking data in the accor app informed me that the swimming pool was temporarily closed. In the hotel, it was open. Our room had some issues, we found an empty chocolate bar wrapper on the armchair, two lamps were not properly fixed to the wall, the toilet seat was also loose. We reported this upon checking out as one of us was not feeling well and did not want to be disturbed. The second room was not made every day, no idea why. Breakfast was theoretically very nice. In practice, there was not enough staff. No plates, no bowls, no cups, no glasses, 3 out of 4 coffee machines needed servicing and when I asked a young woman about it she showed me the one working (with a queu of 8 guests). Also - who chose the dishes? Smallish cups (150 ml) and glasses without handle, how are tea drinkers supposed to handle their drinks? Apart from the teething problems, nice choice of breakfast food. But if you are understaffed, do not oblige guests to book breakfast, I could not find an option without breakfast and it would relieve pressure from staff.

The hotel is spacious but not in a great location . But one thing for sure - definitely not Accor standards. All staff don’t wear uniforms and the housekeeping is poor! Floors are not vacuum as my biscuit crumbs are left on floor, nothing is washed including coffee cups,, nothing is refilled, the bed is not made to any hotel standards, they can’t even be bothered to do the basics of hanging robes back up and hairdryer back in place .. coffee pods left in machine from previous guest, toilet paper not refilled which is a necessity, absolutely not any hotel standards, I made an effort to tell reception and all he could say was they are low in staff. Accor needs to review this site. Giving them a poor name!

Mi estancia en Sibiu fue muy positiva en este hotel. Ofrece un buen descanso.Las habitaciones muy espaciosas y limpias. Las cama cómoda y la decoración moderna. El desayuno variado y completo. Está un poco a desmano del centro. Ha sido una estancia confortable.

Quiere ser un hotel de 4 estrellas peto no llega. La habitación que nos ha tocado esta bien y con balcón, pero el baño un poco justo, la puerta no cerraba bien y la cama, aunque grande y cómoda pero la manta para taparse pequeña. O se tapa uno o el otro. Por eso digo, quiere pero no puede
