Leda Beach Hotel

You get what you pay for. The rooms in the oldest buildings are really worn out and the quality of construction wasn’t the best to begin with. The bathroom windows don’t have glass, just a wooden grating so the temperature in the wintertime inside rooms is more or less the same as outside, might get chilly during nights. I had some small ants invade my room and had to shake them off my bedsheets before going to sleep. Some other quests reported leaks during heavy rain. Some of the buildings need reparation work done asap. The breakfast is good for the price. However some of the restaurant’s waiters were rude to my face for reasons I don’t know. Maybe I ate a bit much in their opinion, who knows. It’s unacceptable anyways. In hospitality you don’t have to like your customers, but you should be professional. Otherwise you’re in the wrong job. There are some other people in the staff that are great. The location is perfect if you want to see the antique Side and it’s ruins. It’s also right on the beach.

Otelin konumu çok güzel, antik kentin içerisinde, kendine ait plajının olması güzel. Bebek arabası ile gelecekseniz zorlanabilirsiniz çok fazla merdiven var. Yemek çeşitliliği az ve öz ***et yeterli. akşam yemeğinde çıkan pizza çok lezzetli. We recently stayed at Leda Beach hotel for 10 days. Sadly I have more cons than pros to stay at this place. Given that it is not the cheapest place we were let down from day one. When we arrived there was no one at reception. We had to wait around for 10 minutes until someone turned up. While we were checked in, we didn’t have the receptionist’s full attention as he was too busy watching the football. When we got to our room, it looked nothing like the photos on the listing. Turns out, the pretty rooms are the cute lil bungalows which cost more by the pool. Having said that, they can’t be great either because the bar by the pool blasts out the same 6 songs everyday and therefore we didn’t spend much time there as it was unbearable. Additionally, when we got to our room, there was a nice little used bar of soap and a soggy half used toilet paper waiting for us. It’s embarrassing. Our room was dated. There is not much else to say. We had to pay 50 euros for air conditioning even though we had proof on our booking that was included. We have now contacted LoveHolidays regarding this to get compensation. How can you charge people that spend a significant amount of money at your shop, restaurant and on 10 days worth of accommodation in 35 degree heat and 27 at night? It felt like they tried to make as much money on top of what we have already paid as possible. Some of the staff were rude and they seem to expected to be tipped for being that way. The breakfast is low quality and tasteless. Everyday was the same and the only thing that had any taste was the waffles which were served every 4 days. Don’t get me started on the awful coffee and the fact that they had no dairy alternatives. Lastly, the staff doesn’t seem to have any understanding of privacy. The cleaner would knock once and proceed to walk in before you even had the opportunity to get to the door. Another time, the maintenance guy decided to just walk in and assess the broken shower door. The place itself is pretty but will not blow your mind. The area is extremely touristy and unenjoyable not to mention how expensive food and drink is for what it is. For the entire 10 days, I did not feel like I had proper authentic Turkish food.

We just got back from our weeks stay at Leda Beach and after reading some poor reviews we were quite worried initially but we had the best experience here! We stayed in a bungalow and it was well kept and clean, we were delighted with the water pressure in the shower. We did have to pay for wifi but got aircon for free. The pool area was relaxed with good music playing throughout the day. The staff were great! Special mention to Yilmaz who was so lovely, helpful and attentive, he even reserved our ‘favourite table’ for us in the restaurant some nights, such an asset to the Leda team! Also Selman - there was no ‘hotel entertainment’ at Leda Beach but Selman made up for this! What a funny guy. The whole vibe here is so relaxed and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for the type of holiday we were after. Location wise it’s perfect, short walking distance to the old town and harbour and plenty of bars, restaurants and clubs along the sea front and obviously backs on to the ancient ruins. We absolutely loved our stay here and are definitely feeling the holiday blues now we’re back home after an amazing week.

Love this place! First visit to Turkey & we got it just right. Visited twice this year - July with the family and just the 2 of us in Sept/Oct. Don't expect a modern, glossy hotel. It is quirky and has rustic charm; not packed and commercial - which suits us well. Great location. View of the ancient ruins to the front of the hotel and restaurant & beach to the rear. The harbour is lovely - a mix of old and new. A leisurely relaxing walk in the evening with beautiful sunsets. It was so very hot in July, we wanted to return later in the year, when the temperature was more comfortable, to appreciate Side and get around to see more. (Honestly, the heat druves you insane!! Phew 😅). Can't wait to return next year.

The Leda Beach Hotel restaurant is a must if you like steak. It was the best steak I've ever tasted. So tender and succulent. The head waiter Abdullah is an absolute legend. He is attentive and very helpful and is a huge asset to the restaurant and Hotel.

Had a really nice stay in Leda beach . Hotel was in the middle of everything. All staff were really nice especially Abdullah down in the bar who made our stay . The only one thing that could of made our stay better was that there was nothing to say what ingredients were in the food . As I am gluten free this made it hard as I had to guess as asked the chef and he just didn't understand. All in all we had a very good holiday and will return and recommend to family and friends 😀
