This little hotel is located off the beaten track and we really wondered where we would end up when our guide and driver took us there for lunch. Well - the open-air restaurant at the top of the stilt house looked inviting. We had arrived early and thus had it all to ourselves. The set menu was good but did not really differ much from what we got at the other Khmer type lunch restaurants - except for their papaya salad which was really outstanding. One thing that I disliked was the missing lighting in the restroom downstairs. It was rather dark and I could not find the light switch, neither inside nor outside. Some written notice where to find it would have been helpful.

We booked here for three nights to get a bit of green and to have a launch pad for Prasad Preah Vihear and we hadn't been to Banteay Srei which is quite close. Not quite as well-kempt as pre-Covid no doubt but areas around stilted dining area and main paths to accommodation kept well enough. Sadly some areas in these quite extensive grounds have been neglected but the kept areas are constantly swept and watered and swept and watered and swept and watered The food is second to none and service pleasant There is WiFi We had a bad experience as we were interrogated persistently by a member of staff about our driver - clearly this was under the instructions of some higher manager who wanted his cut. No excuse tho. Also our room was not cleaned or serviced on one day. Pretty poor given that this is a gaff with fancy aspirations No shelving in our room tho there was plenty of room for it Air con. Comfy bed, disposable toiletries, kettle and tea and coffee and fridge Overall tho, people helpful and pleasant as far as they could be given their lack of English. Definitely a good break from Siem Reap City and nearer some of the sites. You'll need a driver or tuktuk but they can arrange that.

One of the best hotels I ever stayed in , high level of hospitality, the hotel is much better than photos , very unique and calming within the forest , the food was excellent , very tasty , staff paid attention to the smallest details to make my stay enjoyable , I highly recommend this hotel to disconnect from the life hustle

Encore un très bon choix de ASEV pour se restaurant situé dans un complexe hôtelier et dans une superbe végétation. Excellente nourriture locale, très bonne prestation du Personnel,visite du chef pendant le repas. Beau cadre pour le restaurant et pour l'environnement en général. Je conseil ce restaurant.
