The staff and the sustainable concept of this place save it from being an awful scam. PROS; -Every member of staff was so friendly, smiley, welcoming and couldn't do more to help. -We loved the ethos of re-use, recycle, sustain and support local. -The whole place is very peaceful and the rooms are actually quiet for the area. -It is a very short and easy walk to the river. -After check out, our night bus wasn't until 22:00 so they let us store our bags and use the pool all day. CONS; -The rooms are very underwhelming and essentially just feel like a slightly dressed up prison cell. -The bathroom was awful. Absolutely nothing like the beautiful wet rooms in the photos. -The mouldy shower hose and head did not attach to the wall so you have to hold it. -The extractor fan doesn't work which might be related to the exposed wires in the photos. -There were ants all over the sink and walls. -We made a mistake by booking a twin, but when we pushed the beds together it exposed either mud or worse underneath. -The drink prices are more than double that of the shop 14 steps across the road. -They charge 3% every time you use your card. -Be aware that unless you hang the 'clean my room' sign on your door, they will not replenish toilet roll or empty your bin. -They tell you to use their Tuk Tuk drivers and not to haggle as a few dollars off is a meal to them. They charge $20 to go to the Temples and back, we got a tuk tuk there on grab for $3 and back for $4. -You can't use the pool after 21:00 -The prices in the shop are eye watering. -We were told by them that you can't walk between temples and need to use their Tuk Tuks. After getting a grab Tuk Tuk, we walked between temples.
