Gateway Studio Suites

TV satellite connection issues on our 3rd day there so we did not have working TV for our last two days. They offered to move us to another room but that meant we would have to repack all our belongings and that was not acceptable. Requested for them to provide us with another satellite receiver but they did not. There was no maintenance personnel on site. No compensation for the inconvenience. Food was fair. The facility was good and so was its location.

The stay was nice . The staff was great until it was time to check out. I had decided I was going to stay one more night so I was going to pay cash so I had left 2 $100 bills on the bed . Plans changed so I had to leave. I forgot the money on the bed and checked out. Of course when I called them they had a housekeeper go check the room for the money and it was no where to be found. It was disheartening. I also work for a bed and breakfast and I know what it is to have dishonest people working for you . I shouldn’t have been so careless that’s my fault but come on $200 is no joke and yet I still left a tip for the housekeeps . I hope it helps whom ever found it.

This hotel is amazing. The rooms were so clean and the staff is the best. The woman who served at happy hour was super nice (I wish I had her name) but she was great. The front desk was also wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to my friends in a heartbeat.

We truly had a very nice visit to Sierra Vista and a wonderful, comfortable stay at Gateway. The staff were very kind and helpful, accomodations were great, fitness room was one of the best equipped we have ever seen at a hotel, and the swimming pool and hot tub were extremely clean. Having snacks and great breakfasts in the lobby were a huge plus for the hotel. Everything was very tasty...we would highly recommend staying here when visiting Sierra Vista and Tombstone.

Actually, our rating is very close to a 5 because everything was great except for the very hard mattress, the thin bedding (it was a chilly night) and the cold bacon at breakfast. The property is very clean from the inside out, the 24/7 pool and jacuzzi area (although closed for cleaning while we were there) is nice; and as others have remarked previously, the rooms are spacious and are equipped with a small kitchenette. The Happy Hour was nice and didn't close until 9 pm (which was also a nice feature). In recognition of all the "perks" here, we do plan to try another stay at Gateway Studio Suites when we find ourselves in Sierra Vista overnight. Hopefully, the bed linens will be thicker (especially if the night is chilly), that mattress a bit softer and hot (or at least warm) bacon at breakfast.

Staff was great. Hotel was clean and roomy. Not fancy but very nice for quick overnight stay. Big plus was German Cafe about a mile away. Awesome authentic food. No alcohol but still great. Nice happy hour at hotel included in room fee. Near base if visiting military

I would stay here again if I am in town. The price wasnt bad. They had free food, drinks, alcohol. It was very clean. They were friendly. Pool and spa were clean. Close to base and business area and restaurants.

I stayed with my work collegues over a week period. The rooms were excellent and always well serviced. The staff were very helpful and freindly and catered to our every need. The happy hour is amzing and honestly we couldn't ask for more! Of note I left my laptop there before returning to New Zealand. One phonecall to Tracy and it was all sorted and she was able to help facillitate its return to me in Auckland. I highly recommend staying here.

Pros: 24/7 pool, free wifi, free tv, kitchenette complete with stovetop, sink, microwave and fridge along with cooking utensils and pots/pans. Breakfast was of acceptable quality. Room was clean and free of smoke, blood, and urine. Pet friendly. Cons: extremely weak internet connection, lack of air ventilation in shower area, questionable elevator. (the elevator is compliant and has a certificate of inspection posted inside as required by law, but it jerks and makes unsettling noises. Not really a huge deal, however. Building is only 3 floors therefore it is pretty safe.) Decor in lobby is creepy. There is a sun with a face on it. (Not a big deal either). The cons are few. This hotel has a doubtful rating on google, however I found my stay to be pleasant. deserves recognition.
