Positives and negatives a bit of a mixed bag. Position great and parking good . It’s ideally situated for exploring but I just didn’t like the rooms . We stayed in the Elisabeta which was stuffed full of kitsch . Dried flowers crocheted table runners etc . There was a horrible black bathroom toilet sink and shower with absolutely no space to put anything down . I can’t imagine who designed a bathroom with no shelf space at all but on the positive side the shower was really good . The young lady who greeted us was really charming and friendly and helpful . The breakfast was adequate but in the 3 nights we stayed there our room was never made up . There was a ridiculous sized key which meant taking a much bigger bag out and about with me to fit it in . I did like the hotel but I just didn’t like the room as they were dark cluttered and stuffy . I suppise they just weren’t to my taste .

An excellent hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms very clean and a very good breakfast. The manager was excellent in maintaining communication with me in the lead up to our visit. I had ordered some train seat reservations which she kept for me until we arrived and arranged a late breakfast on the morning we arrived as the train was late in arriving. Another member of staff who was fantastic was Kusuma who helped us check out and gave us lots of information. I highly recommend staying here.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. Entering feels like wandering into the middle ages. It has all that you would expect for a lovely stay in a gorgeous town - very comfortable beds, and common areas etc.. But the real treat is the beautifully restored building. The Willem Leonardt room is amazing! The patio and bar area are also lovely with so many genuine artifacts. I even loved the giant skeleton keys we used to get into the building and our rooms. I can not recommend staying here enough.

In June 2024 we stayed here one night in a junior suite. The suite is spacious, full with non functional “medieval” furniture and flea market junk. The room has airconditioning, a mini bar and water cooker. WiFi is good, lighting disappointing. The small windows can be opened. The bathroom has 2 sinks, a bathtub with hand shower and a shower cabin with shower in the ceiling. Not easy to take a shower without flooding the bathroom floor. The bed is good, the pillows disappointing. Breakfast buffet is good Paid parking is a few minutes walk from the hotel and there are many restaurants within walking distance. We didn’t see any supermarket within walking distance. Staff at reception is very helpful and friendly. The (frequent) smoking of some of the staff members on the terrace can be smelled inside the hotel. The locks of the room and main entrance need to be opened/ closed with large (15-20 cm) iron keys. The first time we left our room it took almost 10(!) minutes to figure out how to open the lock. An uncomfortable thing when you would have to leave the room urgently.

What a beautiful, historic property! 5 min walk to the historic centre, great staff and lovely breakfast. Room was beautiful, original fittings etc, clean and large, great choice and would definitely recommend for something more unique (and easily as comfortable, clean etc) than your average hotel!

The Inn itself is charming! They did a lovely job on the interior including the rooms, dining room(formerly a stable) and the bar. It’s conveniently located in the lower town where there are 2 parking lots within 5 mins walk. It costs 10 RON (~2 USD) to park for a whole day and I feel it’s much easier than driving into in the Old Town up the hill. Hotel staff was lovely and very helpful. Thanks Ioana! The breakfast buffet is fine, nothing extraordinary. The biggest downside for us was a dog that barked incessantly at night and again in the morning. Needed earplugs. Not the fault of the hotel, of course but made for a less than stellar night of sleep.

Diving into the history with lovely details, a great breakfast and a nice bar with a pool table. The place is located next to the castle and cosy restaurants are nearby. Lots of things to enjoy and discover in the many rooms of the hotel/pension Thanks

Stayed at Casa Savri on our last night in Romania and it was a treat. So much history in this centuries old medieval boutique hotel. From the room key to the old wood beams in the ceiling, this place is oozing with character and makes you feel like you are transported back in time to when Vlad was around. Shout out to Ioana for the very knowledgeable tour and intro to the hotel when we checked in - she made the stay extra special with her hospitality.

Very well maintained hotel. We booked a room for 4 people, the double bed was very comfortable and big. The other two beds were in the attic of the room, which didn’t have a lot of space and was a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast was very nice and the stuff very friendly. Overall, it was a nice experience!

We spent 2 nights here and it was delightful. From the moment we revived a message on our eta, we were late and the reception isn’t 24/7 but we were welcomed with a traditional Romanian digestive and shown to our rooms. The hotel is excellently located for the town, large room and very historic and quirky The trust to have an honesty bar was delightful and breakfast plentiful and local.

The location is perfect - set only at 3 minutes of the citadel, has very beautiful traditional pieces and sets arround the interior garden and also inside the rooms. The room is very cozy, comfortable bed, very spacious bathroom, with AC in place and also a minibar. The breakfast was consistent and is usually served in between 08:30 - 10:30, there is also a bar where you can have coffe or drinks such as beers wines and so on and also there is a billiard table where you can practixe tour skills in the evening when nothing else to be done. The parking - from what i saw (for me it was not the case as i didn’t areoved by car) it’s really close to the building and tou can park there without problems in case you need. The place is usally very booked so it will be hard to find bookings if you are searching now for next week.

The place has an amazing charm to it and you can see it got love in order to be preserved. Location is excellent as well. Breakfast very good! The minus I find is the fact that you can only park in the central parking place. The fact that it is paid is not really the end of the world, but the system is not properly programmed. We took for a day but it didn’t mean 24h, but rather the 2 hours of the day we were in until it was free (in the night until the next day). But it also meant we couldn’t take for 2h in the next morning, since the machine gives for 2h since you pay and we had to wake up and go buy that ticket in the morning before breakfast… for a day, worked, but for more days I do not think that is made for long term parking! In summer I am pretty sure that parking lot is full. Walking some km with luggage from who knows where cannot be fun. The room we had was noisy from midnight, looked like some system broke on top of the room and we couldn’t lock the room, but they said they will take care of it and honestly, I believe it. As said, the place is well taken care of!!!

What a wonderful hotel. Unfortunately just stayed 1 night there, but one of the best hotels of our trip while in Romania. The room was large and spotless. We had a family room which was plenty large enough for 4 people. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. A nice breakfast was provided in the morning. They had a pool table and little bar down stairs that was great.

We LOVED this absolutely beautiful hotel. We actually moved from one over the bridge at the same cost but far, far less nice. It's like staying in magic, the history is amazing and the decor is so, so beautiful. Also, the staff are so kind and nice. I wish we could live here to be honest. Please go of you want an amazing, historic, Romanian experience in a relaxing and beautiful environment. And you even get a midday check out time - could this place get any better!? Thank you for such a wonderful stay - anyone who comes to Sighișoara and doesn't stay here is mad, it captures the beautiful old town perfectly. Thank you!
