Ottima esperienza. I proprietari molto gentili e disponibili nel fornire informazioni. Casa arredata con buon gusto, molta quiete anche in città, bella vista.
Facile da raggiungere non posso fare altro che... Raccomandare.

Herring house is a very pittoresque place to stay up in the beautiful and rough North of Iceland. Helga and Dagur are warmhearted and great hosts and serve a wonderful breakfast with homemade bread, jam and very good coffee. The cabins are cosy and quiet and have a nice view along the church til the fjord. This time I also did horseriding, a dream came true… you can also do whalewatching and hiking and if you are lucky, you can see the Northern lights. We have come to Herring House for the second time and will for sure come again.

I wish we stayed more nights in this apartment, bc it was lovely. We are a family of 4 and were traveling through Siglufjörđur for a night. Dagur greeted us as soon as we parked our car and it was pouring outside. We had a first floor, 2-bedroom apartment. The beds and furniture were all very comfy. Everything we needed was there for us. Helga chatted with us upon check-out and she gave us some tips on our next stops in our trip.

We stayed in one of the little cottage houses, which was very cosy. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. There is a hot tub and a outdoor shower infront of the cottage and we loved that too. 10/10!

Great place to stay. Very comfortable , warm n welcoming. Great view, comfy bed, and they even chased us down in their car after we left a pair of glasses. Lovely hosts

We enjoyed staying in this guesthouse. The hosts were excellent and obviously appreciated discussing things with us. Everything was excellent and we loved Siglufjordur. We visited th Herring Museum and really enjoyed this visit so we strongly recommend you to stay over and enjoy the quality of that place.

What a gem. The guest house has a great location, is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. There is a proper espresso coffee machine (oh joy after 2 weeks of no coffee!). The owner is friendly and helpful, and there is a cellphone in the house for you to call him if you need anything. A short trip across the fjord gave us enough darkness to see the northern lights.

Had the most amazing stay in the beautiful Herring House. Thorir the host is the perfect gentleman who can offer advice on the area and stories from Iceland. He is welcoming and kind. His house is absolutely amazing. Modern, warm and comfortable. The rooms are inviting with cosy beds and beautiful views. The house it located just beside the church which is close to the harbour, the supermarket and the restaurants. I can't speak highly enough of The Herring House. It is a real gem perfect for any visitor. A haven away from home.

My family and I stayed at the Herring house for three nights during the Christmas holiday and had a wonderful time. The rooms as well as the house were extremely clean and comfortable. The best part of our stay was without a doubt, the hosts. They were extremely friendly, had wonderful knowledge of the town and prepared amazing meals. It was very enjoyable to have personal interactions with the them and learn more about the country and life in Iceland. They really did everything they could to make our Christmas a fantastic one. It was incredible to be able to see the Northern Lights right outside the front door! We will defiantly be going back!
