Had drinks and dinner at their rooftop bar. Sabrina who is the head bar mistress took care of us like royalty and concocted the most amazing alcoholic potions. A killer (Sabrina’s) signature Popocorn sour (perfectly balanced and exquisite) and a maker’s mark whiskey sour (might have even beat mine, to say!) Followed by some delicious buttered chicken and calf’s Tatar with truffle…killer! I can only recommend and do let Sabrina know what you are in the mood for and she will oblige. Total gem 😎

The hotel has the friendliness of a boutique hotel and has a wonderful feel to it. The layout, rooms, decoration, food availabilities were all top notch, just one of these rare hotels that you want to come back to as it feels a bit like home. We ate well in the 2 restaurants and the breakfast - with a view - was a highlight. We love our skiing and not only could we walk the 10 meters up to the Gondola, but we had a real happy ski on uncrowded runs (on both sides) at a very low price, thanks to the hotel arrangement. Just to add that the area, Silvaplana, Engadine is a rare place of beauty in both winter and summer. I consider that we were fortunate to find this hotel, highly recommend it and we hope to be back at sometime.

We stayed at Nira Alpina for one night on a road trip (we have stayed here before for a few nights on a previous road trip). The hotel itself is very modern and clean. Our room, the Corvatsch, had spectacular views of the mountains. The room also has a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, TV, and fridge. The staff were welcoming and friendly, providing a lot of information related to our stay and nearby activities. There was a discount provided for their spa, along with discount cards for some of the activities around the area. The restaurant is great, with a mixture of local, regional and international, with some focus on Asian dishes. There is a great little bakery located within the hotel which is very handy for snacks and drinks for the room. The parking is great, which is located under the hotel. All in all this is a great hotel, we will definitely stay for a third time if we’re in the area.

Staff were very helpful and warm. Hotel Manager came out to welcome us upon our arrival and to wish us well when we checked out. Nicest hotel staff we have encountered in a very long time. Hotel facility was excellent and the views from our terrace was spectacular. Room was perfect and the walk-in closet was a nice touch. Bathroom amenities was plentiful and A Grade. Service was great all around. Staff were very attentive and warm throughout the day. Breakfast and dinner are served on the 5th (top floor) and everyone was just amazing every time including during our occasional room service requests. Hotel is located 15 minutes away from St. Moritz on a very scenic drive. It is a nice break from the throngs of noisy tourist that populate the city. Location is wonderful. There is a nice lake very close to the hotel. You can actually see this from the terrace of your room. It is a good 10 minute downhill walk to the lake and the hiking trails close by. Bus service to the hotel (15 minutes trip) comes at regular intervals and it goes through the narrow streets of St. Moritz all the way to the train station. Bus stop at the train station is about 200’ and the stop at the hotel is right at the doorstep. We didn’t know that the hotel offered free pick-up and departure shuttles to and from the train station so we took the bus on our arrival. Getting to the hotel from the train station was a breeze with a couple of huge luggages as both stops were basically at the doorsteps. Cable cars to Corvatsch is right across the hotel. The hotel bakery offered a quiet space to enjoy the afternoon with very delicious offerings.

We were made to feel at home here from the very start. This hotel was excellent in every way. Breakfast & dinner were generally of high quality. The waiting staff & chefs took great care to check ingredients for me because of a nut allergy. They could not have been more caring & this was much appreciated. The staff were friendly, professional & efficient. Our suite was spacious, well equipped & had a glorious view. The hotel's location for the Corvatsch cable car & buses was super convenient. Easy access to nice lakeside/woodland walks was a bonus on non-ski days. The good value transport pass, available via the hotel, enables easy travel throughout the whole valley. We have no hesitation in recommending you to other travellers.
