We spent four great nights with Kristin and Tobias. They are wonderful hosts who made us feel at home. The breakfast that Kristin was excellent. Not only the food but the conversation and suggestions about the best way to spend our time. Their property is beautiful and we especially like the views of the countryside. Their B&B is a perfect base to explore the Algarve. If we return to Portugal, we certainly will try to spend time with them. Rafael & Claudia

My husband and I recently stayed at Quinta da Luz, using it as a launch pad for exploring the Algarve. It was absolutely perfect. Situated perfectly for coastal, inland, and east / west journeys. Lovely grounds and a comfortable well-equipped room. The host, Tobias, was charming and super helpful without being intrusive! His breakfasts were delicious. We highly recommend this spot for any Algarve visitors.

We planned to stay for two nights and extended for two additional nights. The surroundings are peaceful, and it is easy to see the care with which the rooms and grounds were created and maintained. Kristin and Tobias are easy to like, and they treat everyone with kind familiarity and interest. I think they draw a certain type of guest that likes a friendly, yet quiet environment with many opportunities to explore nearby. Great pool, ample honor bar, lots of things to do relatively closeby, and Silves is full of things to explore about 10 minutes away. We really enjoyed the ample and delicious breakfasts they prepared daily, and they were very helpful setting up the excursions we enjoyed. We found that many guests return, and we plan to do likewise.

great location ! There is a large swimming pool with more than enough sun loungers. The presence of an honesty bar is always an extra plus. Rooms were spacious and equipped with very good beds. many thanks to Kristin an Tobias who are really very kind and helpfull.

Our room (Limoeira) was spacious and very tastefully decorated and well equipped. The gardens were full of flowers, birds and butterflies and were immaculately kept. It was fabulous to relax by the pool on the comfortable sun loungers, enjoying Kristin’s amazing homemade limoncello spritz and doing our morning yoga practice in the orange grove before a wonderful, copious breakfast, which included all sorts of homemade goodies. The staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem for Kristin and Tobias. Great that it is adults only and a mixture of nationalities of guests too. Oh, and the salad for lunch was really tasty too!! Silves is a really interesting town and there are some good walks nearby too. Monchique, Loule and Alte were all worth a visit and Kristin booked us some great restaurants for dinner. All in all, a fabulous stay - thank you, Quinta da Luz team!

Excellent; we enjoyed a relaxing and very peaceful 3 night stay in May. A beautiful location amongst the orange groves. Kristin was a very welcoming and helpful host. The Quinta was exactly as described on the website. Excellent breakfasts!

The weather was not good and we were injured but the hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable. They were exceptionally kind. The accommodation is luxurious and super comfortable . We would love top come back when the sun is shining , but despite the weather we were very well cared for and we appreciate that so much

An excellent location for exploring the Algarve, great facilities and very relaxing atmosphere. With hosts Kristin and Tobias charming and helpful. I had a wonderful stay, for me quiet and relaxing near the town of Silves with its castle and many restaurants.

What a little hidden gem. This is definitely as described, a luxury boutique b&b. The hosts/owners are so friendly and accommodating and try to ensure you have the best stay. Exceptionally clean, modern and stylish accommodation with simple but delicious breakfast. Beautiful surroundings and lots on offer to do (hire bikes, have a massage etc). Hlocated about a 5 min drive from Silves, a little town with a Castle which has everything you need and nice to wonder around. About 25 mins from the coqst. Highly recommended staying here.
